Well, I cannot guarantee that he knew about stealing from SJ before he neded liver transplant. I suspect he knew about it when he went into hiding and lied he was in the USA. That is my own conclusion and I do not have a definite proof. Bc his liver issue lasted for many years....

I learned of Jun Ho for the first time ever in this drama when I posted that I loved his scenes dancing over the chair, and ppl posted back that he is an idol and has tons of dance videos.
I never heard or saw him before, I had no idea he existed, I briefly checked his pages when I was informed he was an idol, to see what he does. and quickly let that, and I am not his fan.
I am a fan of Did_it dance studio in Seoul :) I like their dancing.
I honestly dont like Red Sleeve drama and thought that King drama was too fluffy and Typhon was more substantial.

I dont think this is just one deviation from the norm, I think this is a start of a redemption arc, possibly it will take many lifetimes LOL but maybe not. At least he cracked once and that crack might lead to more cracking to the point where he finally metamorphoses

I disliked Red Sleeve - started watching it and stopped. It was filmed and scripted and acted in a way that I found ... a waste of time. So soapy.
Kind THe Land is a classic meaningless rom com. Did not require much acting skills. It was set up in a posh place so ppl watched it, the classic POWERLESS WOMAN AND A CRUEL COLD RICH MAN WHO SAVES HER delusional plot.

This drama required some acting skills so yeah, ML actor had to work hard and I think he did. He acted love scenes totally convincingly. His office scenes... hm... are ok.

It is fascinating to see the MACHINERY of the idol advertising at work here - so many promotional posts... Omg that dude has a whole team advertising him. Sorry but I find that ... a little repulsive. I guess it comes with the territory as he is an idol so many ppl will adore him and work for him. Honestly... cut it out :)

not for this drama, that has great acting and lots of details. I usually exercise in my chair while watching a mediocre drama, and i I do that, I know th drama is lower quality and I will start thinking about dropping it. In this drama, I am fascinated by acting, by camera work and doing time jumps smoothly, by comedy, and also music, it matches perfectly, so I am glued to the screen. For example, every time FL walks - did you notice how she walks in a certain way? Arms close to her body, neck forward stiff, swaying... She is like that all the time, that actress REALLY IS that reporter.... Also, ML fascinates me, that actor is able to pull a total riot totally overdoing his role while having FUN and yet making it fun for us to watch. It is like watching a theater performance. Not to mention fashion - arent you horrified about pink pants with tan jacket, silk scarf and a necklace? Did you see what he was wearing when he fell on that teddy bear... ? he had a black top that had see-through top, and a long necklace... at least, no scarf of shawl LOL ML is the worst dressed man ever.... did you notice his collection of pajamas and robes LOL The other actors are funny too, like the B director with gray hair makeup... and his made up story for breakup... It is all HILARIOUS... Also, camera - for example did you notice how they "glued" time jumps when ML found the USB? there was like several time jumps and it all blended perfectly. And the music.. omg.. is so hilariously comical. That end song is actually a very young singer who sings like he is an old folk singer at a country fair, and it is like ... flamenco music or something. The cheesy country flair and the cranky diva ML as the nasty man and the nerdy reporter as feme fatalle dressed in red is just hilarious.

Well I say ep 118 is a brilliant way to end it. The only way to bring everyone together was via Se Ri. The script finally became a masterful script, bringing a little crack in the armor and a momentary tiny little redemption arcs and forgiveness and closure between people who are joining to save Se Ri. It is like a cease fire in a war, and maybe leading to a peace treaty to at least some extent. Maybe the only nice thing the villains will ever do in their life, but at least they did that ONE thing and maybe it will lead to more. In any case, in a very long term view, this is a start of their redemption arc.

A "redemption arc" is when a negative or immoral character slowly transforms to become a better person, like SeRi seems to have done.
I am not sure it is possible for GC and SJ to redeem themselves totally in this lifetime but at least they are doing a good deed right now and maybe will change permanently one day. Since they will have plenty of time in jail or mental institution.... or hiding somewhere abroad...

GC proved she is a real mother, she didnt care if SR was her bio daughter or not.
Lucia also proved she is a real mother, she took the damaged kid who was hers.
SJ regardless of his selfishness in the past, for the first time ever is acting as real help. It is actually very beautiful to see him collaborate for real with GC. Hm is it possible they ever become a real pair....??? ah just a passing thought LOL both must be terribly lonely and hugry and why not start fresh? Perhaps it is too difficult bc of all that past.

I am SURE he said ... this weekend.. to her "why did you do that". And she just walked away, not answering. Earlier, she remembered him in NYC in hospital bed, in a cast, all banged up, and she saying she is dumping him and leaving to Korea. And I remember that at the very start o her chasing him, he scolded her for doing something bad to him and I think he accused her of cheating but it was too fast and I didnt rewind to doublecheck.

I somehow think that it was about cheating, that I heard him accusing her of that.... when they first met.... . it was so fast while they were talking informally. I can rewatch those scenes. Do you remember what episode he shows up and she starts chasing him and he turns her down?
