I am not educated enough comment on the technicality like tune but my sharp ears detect that some notes are off, not clear, and the voice is not coming through properly, it is too weak, so yeah, the person is not singing in their full power.
But the song is catchy and the voice has the right vibe, so you get emotionally sucked into it.
And if the singer looks good and it is a nice place, then you would be totally distracted by the ambiance and the quality of singing would be secondary :)

After thinking about this, I suspect that the difference between idols and singers is that idols do not have to sing 100% perfectly but they have to perform. A real singer usually performs a little bit, standing around and dancing a little bit. A great singer who can also perform becomes an international superstar, like Michael Jackson or Tina Turner bc it is so hard to do both well. Seems like usually ppl have a great talent for one or the other

Indeed nasty. Why did he delete the Onion account if he is trying to come closer to her? It would be simpler to write on there that his friend did a prank and went to th date instead of him. The Rainbow song is catchy tune and has the right vibe but if I listen to it, the weak voice and missing notes irritates me so I cannot listen too long. I am a musical person with background in traditional African music so ... any mistakes sound like nails on chalkboard...

I was impressed with "mother moments" in ep 7. Na Jeong exposed teh SEXISM of her mother, favoring a male child, who turned totally hopelessly selfish brat
And Perv's Wife exposed her narcissistic mother.
My own mother is BOTH of those mothers rolled into one, so as I watch this, I am forced to reflect and acknowledge how hard it is to be near someone like that. My mother is NOT someone I could talk to ever. She is a war refugee and she is "frozen" at age 6 when she experienced war attrocities and bombings. Having someone like that as a mother is difficult, to say at least. My mother is not nice, is not smart, and is not caring at all, and is completely void of self reflection and self responsibility. She is the 6-yr old nasty child I have to take care of LOL And so karmically it is what it is, so I just have to deal with it, first accepting it. I will help her live her last days as best as possible. But at one point... where is the line. I cannot sacrifice my life for her.

I am glad that NJ resolved it and that teaching that mothers are first people and have their own lives is so true.

I am waiting for someone to expose the nasty Big Boss, the female one, the one that acted the mother in Study Group. She is the key bully of NJ at work.

Na Jeong's father is law seems like an amazing character, so fun and I hope his son is too. In ep 7 he is so much more attentive to his family.

WJ never looked for his sister - yeah his mother said she was dead - but WJ was well aware his mother was a liar and schemer - why did he believe her... ?

and WJ was keeping quiet and helping his mother to take the company away from SJ.

I need help to understand something. When Dir Ko was talking with EH and remembering her life, she said that "I was catching a minow but caught a whale" - WHY DID SHE SAY THAT? Did she take WJ out of orphanage to surgery JUST to snag the doctor? Or she wanted to use the opportunity to help the kid AND snag the doctor? Never did she have an intent to take EH with her...

I have a free and easy solution to make this drama a lot more watchable.
The camera/ video ppl should watch Nice to Not Meet you. They are putting scenes SO WELL that jumps in time are actually helping to understand the story. The camera is GENIUS there
Another good one to learn from is Dream life of Mr.Kim, that is filmed well too

I LOVE this drama!!!! it is hilarious!!! and getting better and better every episode!!!! FL actress is just perfect as that nerdy stiff reporter defrosting in love... and ML actor is really good at rom com and melo, also defrosting, omg this is sooooo fun!!!! His dinner try was missed only by the reporter LOL

Even ML's scarves and necklaces are tolerable now LOL His fashion used to irritate me, now I like the charcter quirkiness so I am amused by his collection of scarves and pajamas and bathrobes... That yellow leopard was SCREAMING for fashion police... seriously LMAO

FL character is brought to life so good. Just the way she walks, stiff neck and lollygagging from side to side... Omg FL is absolutely REAL
The contrast between her total stiffness yet astute observation and honesty, and his melodramatic drama queen trying and failing, is SO COMICAL

Imo this is 10 out of 10 drama. The music is hilarious too as it matches the action perfectly

I think the Sqid Games audience that came to see "their" actor probably cannot get it LOL bc this is truly a real life experience with a tragi-comical angle

I love it. Yeah the confession cliffhanger is all right for 2 weeks.
And yeah 16 episodes is a lot better than 12. There is no way to finish this mess in 2 episodes... . I would gladly watch more than 16 :)
