The daddy ain't that bad. M.H's dad of course lol We all thought he did something so awful, when in reality it seems that he protected his daughter from a battle neither one of them to win. It's sad that she's can't understand the sacrifice he made for her. Hopefully this string of dangerous events will wake up her to the reality of the the situation between the powers to be and not.
Since I am enjoying this show so much and for fun and giggles, I decided to post unpopular opinion of each main character. Proceed with caution:
1. Soo Ryun- appears to be brave but deep down inside, she’s a scared child. She fully understands what Hee Tae’s dad is capable of, and is genuinely scared of him. She wants to protect her family, who’s protected her, and afforded her a comfortable lifestyle by marrying Her Tae. The thoughts of getting married is daunting, but Hee Tae isn’t the worst man to be forced into a marriage with. This is the one time she is making a grown up decision for the sake of her family. 2. Myung Hee- She should have learned her lesson in high school about meddling with the affairs of rich families and their children. She should understand that they have a privilege that she doesn’t have, so the burden of consequences for her is much heavier. She is risking her safety, her families, the financial security of another family who has welcome her into their homes, and the reputation of another family for a mere 3 weeks relationship. She’s also putting her future career as a doctor at risk. She should had also did more homework on Hee Tae’s family background because at no point did she acknowledge the monster his dad is. Myung Hee should know her place in society, and move accordingly. She’s pissing off some pretty rich and powerful people. 3. Hee Tae- As Hee Tae was speaking to Soo Ryun’s brother in episode 6 I couldn’t help but noticed a hint of his dad in him. He showed no remorse to Soo Ryun’s brother simply trying to protect his sister, and the family’s reputation. Hee Tae is by no means a weak character. I am sure years of emotional/physical abuse by his dad took a toll of him, but he’s not one to be ran over. Which is why I can’t understand why he didn’t shut down Soo Ryun’s immature scheme to fake an engagement he himself didn’t even want. Furthermore, everything that will happened to Myung Hee will be partly because of his recklessness, and careless ways. He went public with an engagement even an engagement ceremony which will ultimately embarrass the parents, which is a big no no. He did this to get back at Myung Hee for rejecting him. Then he moves around the city openly with his fiancé’s best friend, knowing his reputation, with no regards to the consequences. Lastly he also knows how dangerous his dad is and takes none of this into consideration why being so publicly affectionate, and adoring of a poor girl, while engage to someone who comes from a more reputable society. 4. Soo Chan- is in a tough position, as the eldest sibling, oldest son, and in an unrequited love. Soo Chan has to be the help his dad saved the company from financial ruins, all while protect his baby sister from a man who’s publicly dating her best friend, and mend a broken heart over what I am sure he feels as betrayal from Myung Hee. I look forward to seeing how his character is twisted in the next 6 episodes.
I was thought he was oblivious to what happened but watching episode 6 changed my mind. Why is he trying to make…
He's not making him the bad guy. From him lens his sister's fiance is dating her best friend. That's some pretty trifling sh**...not to mention the rumors he keeps hearing.
I can see understanding the character but she’s still not accountable for her own actions, she’s weak when…
SR played a very immature game that is going to have deadly consequences for all parties involved...just like before when the FL took the blame for something that she didn’t do. She takes advantage of her privileged....then she dragging poor innocent ML into the shenanigans.
