I understand SR. Her family is threatened to be tortured in that anti-communist investigators cells. Didn't you…
I can see understanding the character but she’s still not accountable for her own actions, she’s weak when she tries to appear to be strong, she’s privileged amongst the non privileged, and she allows her bestie to take the blame for her in HS. Even on the show, why couldn’t she give her humble friend the plane ticket money, no it had to be that she do something for her return, and then she didn’t even want the ML to like the friend.
The 2nd FL is trash. For the sake of giving every character the benefit of the doubt, I hesitated before I dragged her for filth. I understand the challenging position she must have been in as a female with her family selling her off to a monster's family to avoid financial ruins. But after finding out in episode 5 that she was playing activist and nearly ruin our FL lead future, just did it for me. Furthermore she is still trying to play savior to the poor at other's expense, including our FL's expense. She has started to look weak, frail, and really serves no real purpose. I thought the ML was smarter than that to continue to pursue an unwanted marriage. He could have simply moved back to Seoul on a one way train ticket.
Can we give Chae Song Ah her flowers for best dress in a modern drama....honey she got me online shopping looking to stimulate the clothes in my closet ?
Me too. The start is good but currently, at episode 7 I can't help but say that I am a little dumbfounded by the…
For me even the part where she went to jail. I wouldn't say that's shows strength because we didn't see that play out as viewers. It could quite possibly have been a stupid decision, and in the states she wouldn't even had been able to get a job (but I push that out of my head), so it would have had a lasting effect on her future. She makes poor decisions that leads her into this self pity, and it hurts her and her son. I still don't feel the passion behind her being an activist and we are 1/2 way through. This may had been something she kept up to have that lasting connection to her first love. I'm left the ship, and the writers will have to win me back over which I'm open to. I'm surprised the wife is not putting up a fight and showing self pity. Like she literally had a whole model on the side and now she's drinking in her sorrow. This must be the theme ?
It's just okay, not so good but not bad either but If you are looking to start something new I would suggest watching…
She does cry alot, very weak, and it's hard to sympathize with her character. She has no backbone, no substance, I don't even understand how she is a freedom fighter. She don't even seem passionate about that.
He's my favorite of the 4 leads. I think the young Ji Soo is doing a good job, too, but he's the one grabbing…
That's how I feel and I find this particular irritating with kdramas. Like you are in your 40s act like a grown woman and not a passive naive child. Like you are the daughter of a head prosecutor for God sake....but let's hope the arc of the character is coming soon.
Me too. The start is good but currently, at episode 7 I can't help but say that I am a little dumbfounded by the…
I agree and I get so frustrated but keep coming back for the next episode ... MFL is very passive and the last one to be making a decision to protect someone when she can't even protect herself.
