Phaya subduing Tharn’s body beneath his own while counting down in his ear will live in my skull for the rest of my life. I’m worthless after that scene. Billy is so sexy. I can’t take much more of this but I want them to keep feeding me anyway.
Ep 2, in which Mr. Sahara is indeed a cutie and our beloved Toki-kun is indeed smitten…. but also in which Glasses Guy demonstrates real interest in our lovable Thug, and I predict Glasses Guy & Toki are end game.
I’ll come back with a final review once I’ve settled down. But…. Zhou Ye was wonderful in this, as I’ve come to expect of her in every role.
But holy hell Wang Xing Yue stole the show. And I’m not going to talk about how young he is. He was stunning in this role as Zhong XiWu, with his profound and unwavering love.
