Why do I feel that this show is starting to be a Woo Seung harem? Ji hoon has confess to her, HJ feels something toward her, MC Drill keeps on coming at her, and MJ is suddenly coming into the picture.
I think the writer is more interested in HG. But because people usually like the nice and kind heroine PLUS Kim So hyun was in the role, so they put her as the main love interest.
I really feel sorry for Kim So Hyun. She's such a talented young actress, but her character GE is messing up with the plot. The drama became less watchable when the CP takes all his attention to GE. I rather prefer if this drama focus more about CP and his path to regain his throne.
The King Loves!
And Bride of Water God just because of Krystal Jung. Haven't seen her for a while in kpop or kdrama. And maybe Reunited Worlds. The plot sounds interesting.
When I watch male leads who are sweet and puppy love to female lead, I feel like watching a side character. I don't feel anything and their affections. I prefer male leads who are flawed and their build up to falling in love with the female lead and how they react to it. The feels are much more satisfying when it comes to it.
I just started on this drama, currently on episode 2, and I find this drama weird, and not in a good way. Does the drama develops a plot later? The flashback scenes doesn't seem to do any importance and doesn't ignite viewer curiosity.
I watched so many Korean films and dramas that I know this war more than any of my country's wars. I'm looking forward to your next articles, I'm especially curious of the Koreans involvement in the Vietnam War.
I realized that my favorite dramas are dramas that I marathon. When you marathon, you know you have the time. You don't quite judge it as much too. You get to select the dramas that is consider good and avoid wasting your time with not-so-good dramas.
But then, most often I watch dramas while it airs. It's my weekly entertainment. But I quickly lose interest in them, and will occasionally drop them. The really good thing about watching it as it airs is that you get to discuss it with others and get people opinions about it.
ooh you dropped It's Okay That's Love in episode 6. I also dropped it around that time, but I picked it up again last year and finished it. I did not regret it.
Goblin I also dropped for the same reasons as you. The characters too bland and couple chemistry mismatched. Honestly I felt like I was watching a middle age man and a pre-teen girl love story. That was how their charactes and dynamic felt like.
I was excited for the Korean remake, but when I watched it I couldn't continue watching it anymore. I mean why watch a remake when the original was much better.
I like this version a lot more than the original version. I feel that the cast did a much better job at portraying their roles. The characters are more real and natural.
My favorites of this year are Reply 1988, Dear My Friends, and Jealousy Incarnate. There's also other great dramas such as Age of Youth, Signal, and Six Flying Dragons. This year isn't so bad...
