I don't get why people love this drama so much. I just find it alright. I watched this two weeks ago, but I can't remember the details, but I came back to comment so I could understand why people love this drama.
For me, I thought it was a solid story with solid actors. But I didn't feel the suspense and thrill. The characters weren't lovable or worth rooting for. I wouldn't compare this to Misaeng, but I could see why. Both drama are very grounded and it felt real.
From what I know, Princess Agents only filmed half the book which focused much more of Yan Xun and Chu Qiao before she moved on to Yuwen Yue. So I guess it was ridiculous that they only filmed a drama unfinished. But what do you know, the ending could hint for season 2.
I don't know why you have so much dislike for Reply 1988. Telephones existed in the drama. And pop culture and fashion were different, so people interacted differently. That's what makes it fun. I guess we have different opinions.
The drama that I regret watching was Fashion King. The ending was a major WTF and made no absolute sense.
to be honest, I couldn't watch bride of water god properly knowing that he has a girlfriend and their relationship was confirmed just months before he was casted in the drama.
I feel you writer. I think about the same about historical dramas in general. My favorite one is probably Scarlet Heart. There's so many things to talk about in that drama.
I never expected anything of this drama when I started. But it turns out to be a light and enjoyable ride. Nothing much on the plot, but there was comedy and romance which was it.
I watch the drama feeling that Junghwan might be the husband because the drama spent so much time on him. But there's always a little doubt with the Reply Series, so I searched for why or how Taek might be a real contender. I might have searched too hard because I fell in love with the idea of Duk Seon and Taek getting together.
I did watch this film, and I didn't like it. But I think it was worth watching it. There's social commentary about capitalism and animal factory production. But I wish it would tone down the liberal vibes because I cringed too much with the exaggerated stuff.
7/10
I can't help but feel like it was some liberal cringe movie at some parts. The film itself is a mocking to society. We watch this and feel bad for Okja, but that doesn't stop several of us from eating animals that were farmed like this.
I've seen bits of Playful Kiss and its several adaptations before the Korean version. I've never finished them because the girl was too clingy with a guy who never treated her well.
I was surprised to see Love O2O here lol. I didn't think that the romance was that bad. Truthfully I didn't mind the non-chemistry they had. I mean do you like someone simply because you connect well with them or because of their characteristics and attitude? I believe in the latter.
I'm sorry but I don't understand how Ji Hoon is pathetic or annoying just because he doesn't want…
I don't find him pathetic either. I like that he's crossing the line of "just friends" and doing what he can to make himself more of a man to WS. Who knows, she might have hidden feelings that hasn't been recognized yet. I'm just worry that he might over do it, and then it will be uncomfortable for WS. Attraction should come naturally.
