The last 4 episodes are what it should have been half way through the drama. I barely remember what happened in the middle. And I'm not convinced by the romance, but the actors truly did a good job in portraying the emotions.
Lee Byung Hun looks so dashing in episode 16. And when they said to each other "see you" instead of goodbye I've got a very bad feeling about their future.
Oh no! The male lead was doing so great in his role and his character was the best thing worth watching for. It must be very unfortunate for the production crew and all the actors.
The last wuxia I watched was The Flame's Daughter and when I compare it to Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (xianxia) I really do prefer wuxia. Martial arts world is better than a fantasy world imo. The wires in the promotional video is too obvious lol, but the plot sounds interesting.
I think I'll get second female lead syndrome all the time if they weren't so shallow and typical. My favorites are Cindy (Producers), Hwa Gun (Ruler of Mask), and Soo Ji (The Great Seducer).
It's so weird how Eun Bi has chemistry with Tae Kwang and not with Yi An. But Eun Byul has chemistry with Yi An. I guess it really shows that it isn't the actors, but characters compatibility.
Slice of Life can be nice for a change, but old school dramas are what I live for. It's quite sad to see less of it. The most recent one I finished was Just Between Lovers. It's not completely old school, but it's more modern. I think this will be how it'll be like in the future to appeal viewers.
Sometimes I get confuse if a drama is old school or slice of life. It's kind of a blur sometimes. But I like to think that old school drama are dramas where circumstances pushes a character into some kind of plot and slice of life is where the character put themselves in the situation.
The drama doesn't grab me, but I'm still watching. There's nothing to like about Lee Sun Gyun's character and he just seem like an ordinary working guy. For IU's character, Ji An is a pretty interesting character. I'll like to see more about her. And the brothers, I don't get why they're part of the main story, but we'll just have to see.
Some of my favorites are Conspiracy in the Court, Nine Times Time Travel, Circle and Defendant.
The last special drama I watched was Bingoo. It was nice and enjoyable.
There's also Page Turner that I really liked.
And also KARA Secret Love "Missing You" part. The actress crying was really bad, but I liked the story.
