Why.. why didn't they let Lee Byung Hun keep his facial hair like in Age of Shadows or Master. He looks so good like that. Anyway, the teaser looks so beautiful. And finally, KES first historical drama.
Joo Won was given another love interest, and I don’t think that was needed. The one who needs another love interest the most was the second female lead. She might be getting more successful, but it’s kind of a waste to see her go without having a glimpse of her love life after letting go Joo Won.
The last episode didn’t tied up the couple’s conflict from the previous episode. Like, Gang Du’s sickness just covered up the issue that was between them. But I guess what mattered the most is that our main couple is together and happy.
I tell myself that he's an alright actor, but then I would really like to see him less. Always with his hairdos and same smile in every drama. I feel like I could see the actor thoughts and not the character, this is what irks me. Yeah, not a fan.
I didn't watch for the actors, romance, bromance, characters, and story. I managed to finish it because of how well put the world of Goblin was. The music did a hell a lot of work in setting the atmosphere, and the cinematography also helped too. Those were the things worth watching for, at least to me. Even now, I think I'm overpraising those aspects.
These child actresses are no joke! Kim Hyang Gi especially made me speechless with her expressive acting. How did she get those emotions and deliver them so vividly? It's more than real life lol. Kim Sae Ron was also good. I will not be surprise if she gets more roles and projects in the future.
The writing was well done. Sometimes when I watch something, I think of ideas that could have made a film/drama better, but this one I just watch what the writer wanted to tell. I think it's a movie that must be watch, like, the writer wanted us not to forget about these characters and of what happened to them. It's a powerful piece - it's no wonder why it was turned into a film.
Aww Jealousy Incarnate I miss this drama. It's really a drama of all seasons. I never finished That Winter, The Wind Blows, but I remember it being wintry and even harsh cold lol. My favorite Winter drama? Healer! The main characters out in cold, yet the drama manage to bring warm and fuzzy feelings.
Not to sound mean or anything, but Kam Woo Sung narrates like an old ahjusshi. I know it's suppose to be like that, but it doesn't really sound romantic lol.
I used to watch dramas with my family and they were really into Taiwan romantic-comedies: My Lucky Star Why Why Love Bullfighting Corner With Love Romantic Princess
Ehh, the title is already giving me cringe. Noona romances are not my favorite, but I'll give it go because there's no way I'll sleep on Son Ye Jin's comeback.
I'm enjoying this show mainly because of Sharon (Seo Ji Hye), her reactions even when she's being childish is…
It would have been funner to watch if the story was like that. Make Sharon super evil and mean to everyone in the past, that when she is cursed, she sees all those people she harmed and will try to make amends.
Just when I needed my melodrama intake, I found this. It reminds me of dramas like Sorry I love You, Innocent Man, and A Love to Kill. Except that it is water down. Less depressing, less dramatic, and more meaningful backstory and a little bit more fleshed out characters.
Shawn Dou! Shawn Dou! It's just my wishful thinking for him to be cast as Shang. Although Godfrey Gao would be good too. I was kind of upset that they decided make him a regular soldier instead of being a General. Also for taking out Mushu's character.
I forgot how I used to girl-crush Liu Yi Fei. She was like a barbie doll fairy that I would have bought when I was young.
After watching this, and some other sci-fi drama, I've completely given up on sci-fi from Asia, or Korea at least.…
I just don't get what you mean it's not a good sci-fi? It's not mind-blowing or anything, but sci-fi doesn't need that. Sci-fi just needs to expand your imagination with a story. I mean Star Wars is a sci-fi dama genre without a clever story. Jurassic park too.
I finished Chicago Typewriter, Ruler of the Mask, and Romantic Doctor. I liked Romantic Doctor with all the intense surgeries. I watched Pretty Li Hua Zhen too. I thought it was better than the original, but I never got around finishing it. The other dramas listed here I did start them, but I'm probably going to drop them soon.
