I think he must be a chemistry generator. He has it for every of his female co-stars. So I'm following his works from now on.

The films I watched from him always occupied my mind. I think he was one of the standout directors from Korea.

Giving an 8 seems too high after ep. 10-16, so I rated it at 7.5. I still recommend it though.

At this point, he is like a superhero. A superhero can't help it but save the world and for Ji-pyeong, regardless of their relationship status he wants to save Dal-mi from doom.

wait i have a genuine question. do y'all ship miji cos you want ji pyeong to be happy? or do you actually see…
Both. They have a stronger story. Ji-pyeong was the real writer, but he work behind the scenes for her. So whenever they encounter each other, I was interested in their interactions and Dal-mi reactions. More than Do-san and Dal-mi who jumped into a relationship effortlessly. And when the drama made it seem like Ji-pyeong had a chance, I was on board with it. I also liked the relationship dynamic which showed that they were understanding and caring for each other. I guess I can only hope for a friendship between them now... or maybe not? I don't know.

The ending of episode 15 is why I was team ji-pyeong all along. He's that guy who will run to help her so she won't get hurt or disappointed. He doesn't do it to gain something out of it, he does them because he truly cares for her well-being.

I agree! A lot of comments about this drama feels like gaslighting, seriously. They make this drama sound bad when it isn't. Other than the love triangle, I would say that this drama is different and refreshing.

What does it matter if he showed up or not? He was meant to be an investor that day. Nothing would have went wrong if not for Alex true intentions of acquiring.

Ji-pyeong's absence only reinforces his importance to the group. Only he knew what was best for the company because let's be honest, we didn't know Samsan was making a mistake until we saw his reaction to acquisition.

I am wondering: HJP fans out there who are still hopeful, what are your reasons? Mine: i refuse to believe someone…
I admit I was about to wave my white flag after ep 11. It's really down to 1% chance for Ji-pyeong. But I've been having a gut feeling that this drama has been low-key supporting Ji-pyeong. Look at how the lie was exposed. Ji-pyeong was about to get that letter to conceal his feelings forever, but his actions ended up revealing the truth. He was able confess his feelings honestly. It sounds like fate made it happened.

If I'm correct that the drama/fate is helping Ji-pyeong, then I assume that he didn't need to be her plan b because we know that Dal Mi wouldn't actually like that. Yong San's story helped prevent it and also made him do nothing in episode 11. Without him doing anything in episode 11, things happened. Things that could separate Do-san and Dal mi happened. So it got me thinking, maybe Ji pyeong doesn't need to make an effort because fate will do it for him. It'll push him to be her Plan A instead!

I also remember the grandma saying something about letting the spring pass and in the fall she will blossom. I think Ji-pyeong has the greater chance to stick by her then, considering that Do-san and Dal-mi might separate. But who knows? Maybe I'm just getting these thoughts because the drama tried really hard to sustain viewer interest with the love triangle.

My ship is really sinking now. I’m on Ji-pyeong’s side and was curious about the potential of him and Dal-mi together. But I feel that their scenes are forced and out of place if we consider how it fits with the start-up story... so I’m not feeling too bad that my ship is sinking.

Dosan is obviously not the one she liked in the letters. He already did some things that goes against her ideal man, but she accepted it and that’s enough to show that she found something real with him. Her heart flutters with him, she said, so I believe she has moved on from her first love. I'm really glad that we know who she likes now.

This episode was good imo, but it felt incomplete because Ji-pyeong didn’t have that much scenes. And to me, Ji-pyeong alone makes 1/3 of the drama.

This is a pre-produced drama so they planned these things already. I also think the writer purposely made the love triangle this way so both male leads have a fair chance.

Are people really hating on the characters because they’re in different ships? It’s a shame because I find every character to be meaningful and interesting. I can understand why though. Because Ji-Pyeong’s story is fitting for a romance/relationship. While Do-san’s story is more about character and growth. Anyway, I think In-jae was going to say "thanks."

I was fine with Dal-Mi and Do-san loveline being secondary to the drama but it started showing Ji Pyeong feelings and now it's makes me nervous where this is heading because I like Ji Pyeong. I wonder how the writer will handle this without upsetting anyone.
