Yeah, it's weird. For two episodes or maybe the entire drama, I was wondering what I was watching. But it does get better when it added more layers to the world and to FL's character.
Why was Healer speaking to the camera answering questions as if he's being interviewed? They started the last…
In the beginning, one of Young Shin's to do list is to have an interview with Healer. That's why Healer did that to fulfill her goal.
JH also left his Healer job and started working alongside with Young Shin to have a normal life with her. I'm not sure about the Ahjumma though. She'll probably continue to work with the younger girl.
My interpretation is that at the end her heart chose Jong Bum even though he died. Her feelings for him was genuine and tangible. With the Prosecutor, her attraction for him came out of nowhere. So now, although the Prosecutor doesn't have a rival he will need to work harder for her feelings.
There's nothing new in countries doing remakes, example is South Korea doing remakes of their own old dramas,…
Taiwanese dramas are different from Chinese dramas, so the example is not the same. But I do wish South Korea remake their own classic dramas more often.
The drama was weird, but I continued on with it. I really liked that I could sympathize both male leads. I liked Jong Beom's story but I thought Sa Bin would end up with Soo Hyuk. I think it started falling apart when their past memories returned. All the main characters became draggy and passive.
I also don't understand why the writer didn't just show that Jong Beom transfer his heart to Sa Bin? It ended with the love triangle unresolved and then the epilogue implied that Jong Beom passed away. It's not really clear.
I know viewers can watch it however they like, but I still find it quite silly that people choose to write about how the characters should morally behave when the drama have main characters who are already weirdos and not normal to begin with.
Some of these are really good picks. I usually make my list from the year the drama ends. Some of my favorites of the decade are Chuno (2010), The King 2 Hearts (2012), Healer (2015), Dear My Friends (2016), and Jealousy Incarnate (2016).
So, the stories are kind of predictable, but the pairings are not. They just come out of nowhere like it was a last minute thought. But if I look back, there were several hints. Regarding on ships, I'm low-key shipping Ik Jun with Dr. Jang. I feel like they're getting closer than she is to Jung-Won, that's why. There's just so many possibilities on who can end up with each other. Like others, I also think it's best if all the friends remain as friends.
Interesting picks. I've never thought about my favorite historical drama characters. Come to think of it, the one time I rooted for a character was Hwa Gun (Ruler of the Mask) because of second lead syndrome. I thought Cheok Sa Gwang (Six Flying Dragons) was one of the best fighter of all time. But I think my favorite historical drama character has to be Ruo Xi (Scarlet Heart).
Before Scarlet Heart, I've never seen a character who did not want to climb the ranks or do anything great, and was just trying to survive. She manages to avoid conflicts and trouble with her wits and cleverness which gained others [and my] respect.
I think he's really expressive and has a lot of potential. I really hoped that he doesn't take the easy route of just being a pretty boy who throw smiles at the camera.
