i may be alone is saying this but im sorry to say as much as i love this drama they did us dirty by over-extending…
true. the whole competition taking more than 1 hour episode and going over a week between release is just like quenching a fire. cold and anticlimactic.
i think it because of his dad FORMER CAT - maybe that was ? I think his master knew his dad , so maybe his dad…
what do you mean his dad is the former cat?that's Mei Zhuyu's dad? whoa, it's the actor that played the ML's dad in Love game eastern fantasy. and he also did a sacrificial villain role in LBFAD.
Well, the guy is using VS Code in 2014, but it wasn’t released until 2015—immersion broken, fun ruined.Edit:…
true. also he was already using TWS earphones which weren't widely popular till 2016, unless what it was the bragi dash which was still a kickstarter at that time and was almost like a prototype
im not sure. maybe the MDListers in the Recent Discussion *Episode 35, would know. but basically they had to totally scrub the previous actor's shots, so from the first episode he has appeared probably. you only notice the uncanniness of the character's face, if you know about the swap, otherwise, it would have been unnoticeable.
wait what?? so you mean the person who is playing in the drama he is not the real one???
yes i think.. many of us couldn't notice because the result is seamless. see the Recent Discussions "Episodes only 35 min". most of the original actors scenes were cut. (and the Cheng Lisu has so many scenes even after the change). thats why the run time of each episode is only 35. as they were discussing there.
it's a fun fact for me that the doctor nephew of the ML face has been changed with another actor's face, they used AI and cgi? the result is so smooth. i didn't notice if it wasnt for that one comment regarding this actor switch.
not to me, sorry to say. Hope it will pick up and meet expectations. The start is great with a strong storyline,…
true. i felt like the acting of FL is the same as in Everyone Loves me. she looks so unserious for He Yan a crossdressing soldier who was the masked general that been through so much, *died and came back for vengeance. Her acting lack intensity. I really wished it was there, couldn't help but compare with the performace of Lusi and Jing Tian who played female generals imo. but i hope this is just too early and the upcoming episodes would show much better delivery. ML is so fine for this, hands down.
if they make a sequel, it must be Jin Ho’s story. like maybe he falls in love with a spirit or a girl who is possessed by a spirit. or something. and of course the school gang must be back. jin u do yeon, seong a. everything! even flower master shaman. no yeomhwa were done with her.
this show has become Royal Family drama. and I love it! i love that yan chi is not the crown prince but he is very much working his way through the dramas of his royal relatives. and even Qin Wan has become an honorary Princess because she was favored by the empress dowager and emperor. they might end up being the emperor and empress lets see.
Idk what to even say. Like what is this.. why are being soft on bad people. 9 and 10 wwere like WTF is going on!!!!…
i think they were not able to completely remove her powers. they gave up and let her go cause she hard to handle. they were able to remove her patron deity/power source though. what i think happened after was that she just got another power source which was the ghost baby that clung to the mentally ill woman.
i also dont understand fully the shaman stuff they were trying to pull off. im just sort of going with the flow, the relationships between the characters is what matters still.
maybe by the end of the show, everything will be cleared up. or maybe not.
i thought kdramas had lost its touch. and now i think with this title HOH, the charm is back. remember the era when it was about grim reapers and and gumihos, now it's about shamans. Kdrama world has still so much culture to showcase. and I just love how they do it with this story. the actors are great, the plot is thick. The signature sweetness is there. I try to avoid commenting cause I have a jinx that if i speak to soon, it will spoil the momentum. But this show is already halfway there. and I believe it is good. Things that I love: -Bong su is not really an evil spirit, he's a temperamental ghost boy who has unfinished business, he really spun the story to a different level of fun -the supposed to be real evil, Yeomhwa, has a really sad backstory. All villains had an origin story -how they all live in one house. the evil shaman (also daughter of the mother shaman). even Bong su the evil spirit who possessed Gyeon U. -it started out as a light romcom, shaman schoolgirl has a crush on the reluctant client. archer boy. but the storywriters were serious with the shaman technicalities and has even included spirit dieties, and warding off ghosts and grim reapers (lol i remember the goblin which was also about grim reaper and black, and etc.). but they still maintained the school drama. -no one is really evil. i guess thats the thing they were trying to portray -the school theme is not underdeveloped. they went hard on the shaman parts, but they never left out the school stuff, with the classmates and even with the archery competition. so theres alsolike a sports athlete theme.
Spoiler alert: ep 10 ending was unexpected and very deep in feels. honestly, this plot is so unpredictable. but with the pace, they must go with a ultimate sacrifice trope eventually.

and not like just her face, but really her acting on most of the scenes from the first 6 episodes, especially with the male lead.
