It would be absurd. No way he can be so jolly even with the pills he pops and work 24/7. I think it's abandon issues and maybe (I know it's nuts but it's kdrama) an assault or kidnapping issue. I originally thought he and she will have flash backs which they did but possibly when at some point in their lives he saved her or they both got in some horrible situation and she left him or was taken away maybe they were kidnapped? Maybe after college he found his mom/parent and they had another family and basically ditched him? Kdrama likes that kidnapping and abandon thing. Let's see it's gonna hurt BAD!!

Kdramas go rogue and I'm super picky what I watch I've done my time lol. It has to be more than a child left behind ( not discounting that trauma ) He staying busy/being their everything 24/7 is the only way to avoid yourself. I feel my mind will be blown with the reveal. I'm so impressed with this ensemble and production. I've never wanted to go to Korea in all my years of watching. I'm a coastal girl and this little town if real I would love to visit. They take care of him by letting him take care of them. Lovely Love

Yes I don't think she does either. That reference was the point of the surgery is to lean more towards the euro nose. I find her adorable and to me as long as no one is being forced to alter their appearance then that's fine with me.

Yes of course. But let's call a spade a spade. She is clearly chinese but due to plastic surgery and makeup & enhancements in this drama to a non Asian eye she does not. Out of costume there's no question. The more we take a few minutes of our valuable time to help others who don't know the better.

The actress you are seeing is not her birth face. You can search her image. This is common theme in asian dramas to reconstruct their face to a more European look and bleach the skin. She doesn't look asian to me in this drama but out of costume with no enhancements she does for sure. Just ignore it. We do not know why they rub the race out but it's a thing. She's cute and has been acting a long time.

I think had the entire team and ML rallied around him and gone after the criminal legally I would have hung around. This instead shows that a coerced assaulted can just keep walking around to get the next guy. Thai gay men already know this lesson why not give them the tools on what that really was a serious crime and how to legally address it. The victim did not lust after that curly hair puke and they needed to get him counseling on why his mind felt his body was a second class citizen. I've dealt with Thai Bl for a long time and I am able to cut loose easy. . They have some good ones lately so I hope those get the attention. Lots coming from Korea too all very good. He didn't ask for her to kiss him though. So he shouldn't be punished. Sometimes people are just nice and over the top do gooders to avoid their own troubles. He does everything for everyone so paying her that attention was normal for him but not for her. I'm female so I too would think he was giving hints so I agree with everyone in that I'm glad she nipped him lol also glad there is a love rival but I don't see how they resolve his serious trauma in time for a happy ending for the leads. Hope it ends well even if they are not together.

I live in a small coastal town. We see the same families every year. We have memorials in certain seasons every day as families come back because this is the deceased final resting place ( ashes spread in ocean). It's totally realistic for tourist to see a local in a small town at every visit. Even on my block I've watched tourist kids grow up. I don't think this chance meeting of theirs in their youth will be a thing but I do feel whatever his trauma is it may have something to do with her. because Kdrama! I really would want it not to so I'm hoping it does not. I too love this series and they all gel so well. Love it

Someone here said she goes in to a coma and wakes up and can't speak but they communicate their own way and they are together ,the end. Does that ring any bells? Cuz dang lol

From what I read here they will not show them both remembering and she in this series has dreams about him but not referencing past life except once as a joke. I don't think he ever remembers nor does he even hint to having any mementos. It's their censorship rules. Someone else will need to chime in if the book has him remembering I don't think so
