Had potentials but lacked something along the way!!!

Episodes 1 to 4 were hands-down the best! The fight scenes had real intensity, and the male lead’s emotions were everywhere. In these episodes, EuiGyeom’s desperate struggle for survival was clear, his ability to learn his opponent’s moves added flair to the drama, making every fight feel meaningful and purposeful.

The masked era felt like it came and went in the blink of an eye, I expected more battles and hidden identities, but it ended too fast, leaving a sense of loss.

The worst father of the year? Absolutely. He treated EuiGyeom just like his own father treated him, despite losing a child. You’d think he’d be more lenient, but nope! His mother wasn’t much better, she stood by and watched her eldest son suffer, but at least she came through for the younger one. Maybe that’s a step toward redemption?

EuiGyeom endured torment from his brother, father, and grandfather, which took a serious toll on his mental health. Fighting was his only release, and he did it brilliantly.

The SML, he seemed like he’d be the stronger one, but in the end, he lacked the will and ability that his early portrayal promised.

Some fights were just unnecessary, like the one with the guy in the cap. His presence felt pointless, like they were stretching out the story for no real reason.

There were some golden moments too. One scene in 8 was so wholesome, the way he looked at his father before stomping on the bad guy’s leg was perfect. And during the fight, the transition showing everyone who had ever angered him? Masterful.

But wasn’t the trip supposed to be a rehab? Instead, it was more like a survival ground for a high school student battling mental health issues. Are they hinting at a Season 2 with this?

Overall, Episodes 1–4 were peak storytelling. I might just pretend 5 and 6 never happened, but the backstory in 7 was solid, and 8 was passable. If they had kept the intensity of those first four episodes, this could’ve been a truly great drama!

NEVER KNEW DISABILITY CAME WITH DUMBNESS

My blood pressure skyrocketed watching this drama! I get that they wanted to stretch the story, but the plot was ridiculously unrealistic!

Who goes home knowing a serial killer has their address AND was just set free?! No way a group of trained soldiers would hand over a panicked woman back to a guy like that! And the crowd? Not one person thought to call the police? Be serious. No police force would let a key witness walk away without questioning them in a murder case!

Such a waste of phenomenal actors on a frustratingly absurd storyline. And don't get me started on the second lead his slowness drained my patience!

Cooling off with a solid drama now before my blood pressure hits new heights! 😤🔥

Watch for the law cases!!

Easily one of the strongest law dramas out there, those case files were chef’s kiss 👨🏾‍⚖️. Each one brought a fresh angle that kept you locked in, episode after episode.

The cast? Stellar across the board. From the leads to the background players, everyone pulled their weight. And the way their personal stories added emotional depth without hijacking the legal plot? Perfect balance. No unnecessary drama, just layered storytelling done right.

But If they’d leaned harder into the legal storyline instead of juggling to find a bal in the first lead rom dynamics, we might’ve gotten a stronger final case or even a more satisfying ending overall. Ms. Kwon’s scenes felt like they were plucked from a whole other drama 😭. Beautiful, yes, but the integration was off. That arc could’ve been the ending, honestly!

Now the second lead romance? Chef’s kiss. That’s how you do it age appropriate, emotionally grounded, and woven in without hijacking the plot.

Beautiful story

Historical dramas aren’t really my thing, I doubt I’ve even watched up to 10 of them! But I Loved it, I probably won’t rewatch because of the length, but it’s definitely earned a special spot in my historical Kdrama collection. Every character was amazing, even the evil spirits!

The story, pace was beautifully done! The comic blended so beautifully too!!

The standout performances come from Yeo-ri, Imugi, and the King, who carry the show with their compelling character arcs.

The King’s growth, the tragic backstory of the spirits, and the dynamic between the leads make this drama emotionally gripping. Even the supernatural elements feel deeply personal, making the ghosts more than just horror props, they had stories, regrets, and unfinished business to settle!

This drama is more than just a ghost story, it’s a story about betrayal, family, redemption, and the weight of history. Is it supernatural, comic or historical tale you’re interested in THP haas everything in stock for you.

Predictable, slow, dragging, not thrilling!!

Nine Puzzles had a solid concept and a decent storyline, but it was painfully slow, uneventful, and dragged way too much. The only reason I stuck around was to confirm the killer who was already obvious and uncover the backstory.

Each episode felt like a chore, leaving me with a tight, uneasy feeling, but I powered through (and no, it’s not about my taste, I’ve watched Doubt and other thrillers). The FL didn’t click, and as for the ML, my second drama of his, and I’m still not sold.

For a psychological investigative thriller, it lacked any real thrill. A drama stuffed with A-list actors doesn’t automatically make it good. And can they stop making the killer the most obvious choice by giving them barely any screen time or storyline?

The one scene that stood out? The ending? her choice with the fire was bold! The leads? Completely forgettable. If there’s a S2, they need a major revamp or just scrap it altogether.

A 7/10 for me, but definitely a one-time watch.

GOOD BUT SOME SAD ENDING WOULD HAVE MADE IT BETTER!!!

I love them the mothers so much, like seriously they were my absolute faves in the drama! The way they never judged each other and always had each other's backs? I ate that up. And taking their friendship all the way to in-laws? That was the cherry on top for me!

I still feel like they tried to sugarcoat HoSu’s situation just to avoid giving him a sad ending, especially with his ear condition. But even with all that, his character was still so beautiful and touching.

MiJi acted like a baby in some scenes, but regardless, seeing her go back to college was actually sweet! The actor really did a great job bringing her character to life.

I really loved MiRae and SeJin relationship, and I was so happy SeJin came back from America. But honestly, I never understood why they let him leave in the first place, his farm was doing so well!

MiRae quitting her job was honestly the best decision she made. Staying back in her hometown? Loved that too! What really hit for me was how her relationship wasn’t about romance, it was about healing. That’s exactly what she needed, cause sis had to rediscover herself from scratch.

That scene in episode 11 where HoSu’s mom gave him a reality check? Iconic! Like, why choose to be alone in this world when you can literally grab the girl and hold on tight? She really had to drag the sense back into him!

That scene were HoSu went to visit his mom in workplace, meant everything to HoSu’s mom, you could practically feel her heart pounding. Seeing her son show up at her workplace gave her so much comfort and hope. It was a moment she really needed.

I really feel like they watered down her situation too, just to make things look nicer. But honestly, that scene could give people with dyslexia a little more hope and I love that. The moment she found a family in HoSu and MiJi? That was the true heart of her story for me.

Overall, it was a really good drama and honestly, it had the potential to be the best! Episodes 1 to 8 were my absolute favorites, they just hit different. And shoutout to every actor each one did an amazing job breathing life into their character!

HAD POTENTIAL BUT THE END F IT UP

The story started so well with exciting and memorable scenes!! The switched between a shaman and a student was exciting then the ML story was also good!!

But at the end, kdrama have an obsession with redemption arc, and whitewashing characters!! let villains be villains!! The mother dying in replace of YeonHwa was so unnecessary!!

Episode 11 and 12 were really disappointing and so unnecessary!! The writer must misplaced her original script cause wtf?? From a dumb boy to a ghost Hunter and a boring episode, what a bleh!!

BongSu story was overstretched and it became unnecessary boring and lost interest!!

Anyways it had potentials but let’s blame the writers and the people that acccepted the last episodes!!

ONE TRACK NARRATIVE

This drama just proves that no matter how skilled and professional a woman is, an amateur man can still somehow be positioned as a worthy opponent.

A teacher clashing with a student? Sure, he’s a bad guy, but that kind of dynamic feels forced especially when the teacher in question is a professor *and* a boxer??

The story itself lacks any real depth, just a predictable, one-track narrative. Good actors, but nothing particularly memorable!

She should have beaten his side guys too or maybe someone else!! Don’t know why kdrama are fond of wasting good casts!

MELODRAMATIC BUT BEAUTIFUL TO WATCH

The drama delves into themes of love, regret, and the passage of time. It portrays the emotional turmoil of rekindling a past romance and the impact of unresolved feelings on current relationships. The series also highlights the cultural differences between Korea and Japan, adding depth to the characters’ struggles1. I’ve never been a fan of melodramas, but Episode 1 had me hooked, and thankfully, every episode lived up to my expectations! The fact that she learned Japanese just for this drama already makes LSY one of my favorites.”

Normalize Sad ending too

I would have rated it higher if we have gotten a breakup which was initiated by JinHwan! I don't think I want to be a relationship were I will be second guessing my every move cause I have a partner with inferiority complex and insecurity issues, it's a deal breaker!

Imagine waking up reach day to check if your partner is still right next to you, or his clothes are still in the wardrobe and not knowing was going through his mind!

I really wished we got a better ending but the tried with their acting tho!

Waste of Time

Welp, it’s official down from that 8.0 rating and honestly, I was just waiting for it to drop 🥴. The drama had potential, it really did.. until Willy’s character got side lined and everything just slid into meh territory. The action? A whole 1%. Some of the acting? Oof. It’s painful watching others improve while a few folks act like growth is optional. No aura, zero charisma, dialogue flatter than a pancake (I won’t name names, but whew 😬). They had all the time in the world to deliver drama, but clearly, romance was the only priority. And that daily car race? Still scratching my head over its purpose. Cool concept, but execution? Mid.

Don’t know why it took me this long to watch!!

Let me give credit to YoHan(Hwa Woon), don’t know why they called his role a supporting role tho!!

Story: Good story, I loved how they started the all plot without showing us he was the one doing the killing! I also love the story of the other casts too!!

cast members: Beautiful characters and they did their part beautifully well!!

Was sad that the Father died tho!! he didn’t deserve to die!!

JuHyun was a little bit annoying tho!!

It was beautiful written with a little flaw but still among the best of kdram thriller drama!!

SHORT BUT INTENSE

Found out about this movie after seeing that the drama sequel will be released in May 2025!

The movie is short but intense and I loved it!! The zeal and emotion of the boy was amazing! No one should stay bullied for that long too!!

Because it’s a movie the full story wasn’t told and I’m happy we’re getting a drama version which will have more plot and storyline!!

Hopefully, all cast members will still be there, cause they all did amazingly well!!

I can’t also wait to watch Do-Hyun’s get his own revenge and more of WooLsun fight!!

It was a good drama 🎭

AN UNTOLD STORY OF THE STUDY GANG

Study Group" is a webtoon adaptation of the same title. While I’m not typically a fan of bullying dramas, this one stood out because it featured the protagonist frequently getting the better of the antagonist.

Positives:

Great Casting: The actors did an exceptional job, and the chemistry among the characters was evident. The visuals were top tier, and I believe the OST was good too.

Intriguing Backstories: I loved how the backstories were initiated and told. Each story had its unique way of adding spice to each episode, and I was always looking forward to them.

Perfect Character Development: The character development was well-executed, making the drama more exciting to watch.

You'd think you'd had so much fun with one episode, but the next episode would leave you with a new type of excitement! However, I didn't like the fact that Hong Min Gi had little screen time.

Negatives:

HanUI's Character: Let's talk about HanUI,I doubt if he can be saved or if he even wants to be saved. His character was so chilled and cool too.

Final Fight Scene: I didn't like the last fight between GaMin and HanUI. It was too basic compared to the initial fights from previous episodes and had way too many cartoon effects, making it look unrealistic (even though I know it's a webtoon).

In conclusion, Study Group was an exceptional drama overall, with a great cast and a beautiful storyline.

SAME SIMILAR SCHOOL BULLYING PLOTS!! ??

Was it good? Yes! will I rewatch it again? No! was it better than the season 1? Hell no!

The plot felt like I was watching study group with minimal wow moments. The organised school gang, and so many scenes were all similar to study group!

I love the main villain but hopefully they leave him without the school uniform.

SiEun storyline was made to surround SuHo, only for them to make their meeting soulless and bland!! It just felt like the scene was thrown in to please the fans.

I think am tired of the good boys group having 1 great fighter, 1 good fighter, 1 semi good but stil gets beaten up and then 1 loser who doesn’t know how to throw a punch!

At the end, it was a good drama and I loved seeing the faces of the actors!!
