You are absolutely right. Since there is no difference between fiction and reality, women cannot "consent", so it would be the best to ban all fiction, especially romance, which is rape because the actors are not really a couple. And since women cannot "consent", all approaches by males are rape by definition. I'm glad there are still pure justice fighters like you left who teach women that a woman's pleasure is disgusting and unpure unless she follows the approved pleasure checklist. If women and their disgusting pleasure get banned, they won't get raped anymore. And without available women, men cannot produce rape porn anymore. Afghanistan shows us how feminism works by protecting women in the most efficient way. I hope the rest of the world will adapt soon. No woman must be exploited anymore. Please keep fighting for us! :)
People are saying it's r-porn-- that's gross. I'm not really bothered by the uploading of a porn parody poster,…
If you did some research, you'd realise that lots of women love their rape fetishes. Look up "bodice ripper". If you are are able to understand women, you'd understand why many of us love rape stories: It's about exploring a fantasy in a safe environment. In real life, we usually don't meet hot millionairs/billionairs/CEOs but, in those stories, we do. Intelligent women are able to distinguish between reality and fantasy. What we consume is not necessarily what we want in our everyday lives.
I think she will never admit to the strain and abuse she goes through as such a young person. She is equivalent…
The problem is that she's a nobody outside of China. Only in China, she can make a living as an actress. If she leaves China, she'll leave the industry, and there are dozens of beautiful young aspiring actresses who could replace her within seconds. That's why the abusers have so much power over her and people like her.
Yeah, that's bad casting. Here's one more: Kim Jung-young , the actress who plays ML's mother, is just 10 years…
I already watched it. That's why I know that you are a great expert on dramas. Who doesn't enjoy annoying SMLs and lengthy scenes. One of the best dramas, indeed. Please keep criticising people who have wrong opinions and even wronger tastes. I'm sure they'll eventually grasp that you are the wisest among us with the bestest taste. :)
The comments are mostly positive, but the rating drops?I haven’t watched the final ep but wonder if the ending…
I think the drama became relatively uninteresting after FL and ML decided to be a couple. The story of the young versions also ended, so there wasn't much story left for the last episodes.
There is a happy ending but it doesn't add anything new or exciting to ML's and FL's story.
I've watched the first three episodes and it's decent so far ( Except for the part where FL is in love with another…
I don't know how this trope is called but the FL was a fairly typical K-drama romcom FL. Unlike the hysterical FLs in other romcoms, I liked this one. The only thing that truely annoyed me was the fact that she kept the wannabe-30yo 2SML around even though he acted like a deperate leech, and she didn't like that.
I enjoyed watching this drama until ep 8, then it kinda lost its charm, or maybe it’s just me that I tend to…
I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt this way. I fast-forwarded many scenes in the last few episodes. Once FL and ML decided to be a couple and everybody knew about their relationship, all problems were solved.
Yeah, that's bad casting. Here's one more: Kim Jung-young , the actress who plays ML's mother, is just 10 years…
Thanks a lot for sharing your comment. Since your profound expertise evaluated this drama as one of the best, I know what value your advice has for me. :)
I’m so confused about the characters’ ages in this drama! They say the intern is only 7 years younger than…
Yeah, that's bad casting. Here's one more: Kim Jung-young , the actress who plays ML's mother, is just 10 years older than her "son". She's 52. Ju Ji-hoon (who plays ML) is 42.
This is not about being old or looking great but about believability.
I completed this drama. Finally. Apart from the obligatory Mary Sue, it had some unusual aspects for a sageuk, for example, the rather nice royal family (nice king, nice queen) or the queen dowanger's life. The last seconds of the ending were also quite a welcoming surprise. It's certainly not the worse drama out there.
I really hope Hong Ye-ji will work harder at improving her acting skills because she's extremely underwhelming as a main lead.
So f**king annoying and ridiculous SML character. I get it he is happy go lucky character but he should not cross…
SML is indeed unprofessional. However, he met FL before he became a teacher, and they were friends back then, so I don't find it surprising that he still tries to be friends with her even if she's his senior.
The problem with the age gap is mainly due to bad casting. In the drama, SML is supposed to be 30 but the actor is 25, looks and acts like a teenager. That makes the whole thing cringey, in my opinion.
It would be veeeery uncommon for a K-drama to make a nice and charismatic character a pedosexual. In ep 7, when…
Omg, really? I must have missed that part or immediately forgotten it or I didn't realise that he was referring to the student. I'll try to rewatch the scene.
Why do you feel that the screenplay were bad? This is a fluffy romcom. Almost nobody expects a highbrow drama…
Like you, I hoped for an enemies to lovers drama but it doesn't make sense storywise as FL and ML have never been enemies. The synopsis here is quite misleading because FL and ML were rivals for like 2 minutes as teenagers before dating. However, we cannot blame the writers of this drama for stuff people write on MDL. Just because you don't find the present time part of this drama interesting (and that's fine), does not make this drama bad, in my opinion. At least, I am able to distinguish between my personal preferences and the writing itself.
I don't like the FL. It's as if she's been written with a dash of hate. I don't mind their childish banters but…
She does like him but she was hurt as a teenager because she believed for almost 20 years that he had discarded her. To me, it makes sense that she doesn't immediately want to date him just because he materialised as a hot adult in front of her. When she figured out that it had been a misunderstanding, she probably felt ashamed because she had treated him so poorly. See the ending of ep 7.
It makes no sense to proceed with the teenager romance as if nothing has happened in ML's and FL's life during those 20 years. They are adults now, and they are starting a new romance.
It’s a bit harsh but at the same time many of us wish more characters would be this firm when rejecting someone,…
Exactly. Even though I'd really like to see them as a couple, I appreciated his bluntness. He doesn't nuture false hopes, so she can now move on to someone who wants to reciprocate her feelings.
The teacher student still acts as a third wheel trying to get some boyfriend moments with FL because FL is way too nice and occasionally gives him what he wants.
i am so hoping cha ji hye took the dad to the wrong room cause it really seemed like she was trying to redeem…
The ending was so stretched that we can expect a totally "unexpected" plot twist. Otherwise, the father would have entered the room in the last few seconds instead of touching the door. ^^
There is a happy ending but it doesn't add anything new or exciting to ML's and FL's story.

- Chef, ex-wife #1, ex-wife #2 (both are ML's brother's ex-wifes)
- Chef, ex-wife #1 (the one with the long hair), the divorced reporter
- ML's niece, FL's brother, FL's brother's best friend (or whoever that guy was)
- FL, SML, SML's fiancée(?)
- FL, ML, ML's ex(?)
Maybe I forgot a constellation. :/
