Today's episode was disappointing. It started off fine but dragged on too much, and the second couple barely got any screen time, which really let me down. There's only 2 episodes left anyway.
It was a cute series. The plot was cliché, and the actor who played the cop was quite bad, which made it feel a bit like a joke. However, the two leads were good, and there was a certain level of tension and excitement. I liked the direction and editing—clearly a lot of thought went into it, and the production quality was high considering the budget. The female lead's role felt repetitive; she always plays the same martyr-like character, which is a pity, possibly even for her. The male lead was handsome and acted well; despite his soft appearance, he portrayed a tough character torn between love and violence convincingly.
The series ended sooner than I expected, but perhaps that was for the best—there was no point in dragging it out.
This show started off weak and didn’t feel like anything special at first (for me), but it’s turned into something I really don’t want to end. I’d even say it surpasses Revenge Love, which had a great start but declined towards the end—while this one, in my opinion, just keeps getting better. I can’t even explain what’s happening here that makes it improve so much, but it completely captivated me.
I like the second couple more, but I still connected with the main couple. The last episode felt like breaking away from the usual cliché where someone lies and the partner needs time to fall in love again. In this case, It’s highly fantastical, even unconvincing— someone who’s clearly unwell and obsessive, and yet the other person accepts him anyway.
And still, I find myself able to accept it, because somehow, his obsession ends up feeling legitimate. Something in the way it's portrayed—in the story, in the characters—just works.
I can’t believe there are only three episodes left…
A cute and entertaining series, fairly mediocre overall. There isn’t much to comment on or critique. What can be said with certainty is that Wang Jyun Hao is very handsome
I really loved the last episode. It was very sad and not easy, but it felt deep, different, and real. It’s a pity that it’s ending so quickly. It’s hard for me to believe there’s only one episode left:(
The first episodes, 1 and 2, were extremely annoying, with all the sound effects, fast transitions, and the opening itself being irritating. But after that, the episodes were better in my opinion. I don’t think there’s much chemistry between the main characters, and I also don’t connect to their appearance. I think the second couple looks better and even has something more attractive in their acting—they feel more authentic.
I also don’t like that one of the characters takes advantage of the naïve guy just to get someone else or to take revenge on someone. I used to be able to watch things like that, but today I’m less forgiving, maybe because it’s not really a comedy, and it just feels a bit mean to exploit another person for revenge.
In any case, it’s a series that passes the time, nothing more.
this kept me from enjoying the show almost completely, but i don’t think it’s the actors’ fault exactly,…
On the face of it, you would be right, but since there are many Japanese series like that, with hesitation before a kiss and the like, I don’t think it’s related to the production—it’s just how it is. And there were times when it worked despite the hesitation; there was still chemistry. There’s also the matter of a look(eyes)that wasn’t there. It definitely felt strange because they felt strange. But of course, that’s your opinion and this is mine. It’s all fine.

I don't think you understood me. There were enough intimate scenes—there were a few kisses, and one scene was more intimate than just a kiss. But it didn’t work because there’s no chemistry between them. I think the actors are excellent and the production was fine
The series was overall cute until the end, but there was no chemistry between the actors. They looked more like friends, There was enough physical interaction between them .
Ep 10 is the most episode though. It's a philosophical discussion on the loneliness epidemic in Japan.
In my opinion, it’s not related. I think it’s because the audience is older, and as usual with older audiences the story is told more reservedly, with almost no intimacy. That’s because they attract viewers who expect it and then disappoint them. It’s not the first time; this style has been going on for years. I can understand his vulnerability and why he’s hurt, and it’s completely legitimate that he prefers to be alone in such a situation, but it could have been told in a more engaging way. At this stage of the series, communication is still possible. For example ,even in “cherry Magic,” the breakup episode was much more successful than this one—it just drifted into irrelevant scenes that didn’t add much. In any case, I think it was time to move on, to progress. It has already turned into a trend rather than a real attempt to deal with the issue.
