The scene at Weiwei’s mom’s house in episode 22 was filmed on the 25th day of shooting. I know this because they filmed each other behind the scenes and labeled that day. This shows their schedule was incredibly intense — each workday meant shooting an entire episode, and by then it was already 10:30 p.m., which is truly exhausting work.
It was also quite chaotic, as the scenes weren’t filmed in chronological order, yet it seems this particular one was indeed shot toward the end — at least, that’s how it appears from the behind-the-scenes footage. The kissing scene in episode 21 on the bridge, for example, was filmed right at the start of production and was their first kiss as actors.
I’m really glad they don’t drag it out and that they release all the episodes one after the other. Most of the fun in the show is only in the early episodes. Its strength is the silliness, the humor, the kisses, the teasing. The plot isn’t strong enough to support the drama.
It seems like Ziyu connects emotionally much more in scenes with his mother (when he's in the yard with his mother) than in emotional romantic scenes, and this was probably the only touching scene in the recent episodes.
They should keep the fun going and continue with the humor until the end, like in the earlier episodes. Of course, most viewers probably love it, but that’s just my personal opinion.
I think episode 4 is weaker. Things feel too rushed and not entirely believable. When someone says they need a bit of time, it doesn’t mean they want a complete disconnect. There’s also some passive-aggressive behavior here. Besides, they could still go on a date or something. The series has been moving too fast from the start, and it worked until episode 3 — but now I think it’s going to start going downhill because there’s no real development.
I'm curious if this happened to anyone else who watched episode 4 (without subtitles) — right after I watched it, videos of Japanese barbers giving haircuts started showing up in my YouTube feed.
The show keeps disappointing me more and more. First of all, treating the snake like a pet you can call and it’s supposed to come to you is unbearably stupid. Secondly, once again, Chi Cheng is partying with his ex and not with his current boyfriend, which is just absurd. And lastly—at least for now, because I’m sure there’s more—Wu Suo Wei enters a house that isn’t his just to watch the videos, even though he already transferred them to his own USB… Honestly, it’s all becoming way too ridiculous.
you spoke my mind lol. i don't say things like this cos people would send you threats hahaha https://youtube.com/shorts/sHX13Qm510c?si=5OPh-J_kDwj21TUo
It annoys me too, but it’s part of an advertisement. From what I’ve checked, it’s a Chinese brand.
Liu Jun act better tha Ziyu??? In what universe? Because from what I see, LiuJun actor's acting is cringe af.
I wasn’t talking about Tian. They have fantastic chemistry, there’s no doubt that Ziyu’s charisma adds a lot — and in my personal opinion, that’s one of the reasons for their popularity.

Zi Yu is generally talented, but he still has a journey ahead of him and needs to learn acting. Overall, I get the feeling he’s very gifted in many areas, but doesn’t fully commit to one thing, so nothing ends up being perfect. For example, I’ve heard him sing live and he goes off-key, and even though he dances well, it’s still not completely polished or professional. So, here we have a multi-talented person who’s a bit scattered across too many things. This happens to many artists — it’s not unique to him. I think he’s simply very charismatic, so he’ll succeed either way, but it all comes down to what he demands of himself as an artist.
