The Koreans haven’t managed to get out of the maze they put themselves in for two decades. They discovered something that works and got stuck there. They have the ability and creativity, but they’re caught in a honey trap of money, and if something works, they just replicate it endlessly.

Why is there always a young guy in Korean dramas who stutters and talks like a 5-year-old? I don’t understand this trope; I’d be happy to understand.

I thought there were 10 episodes for some reason. It seems like there were supposed to be two more episodes, because the ending will probably feel too rushed. It’s a bit strange that there’s only one episode left, since according to the manga it should be two, in my opinion.

I’ll read the manga and maybe get back to you. I also don’t think this series is excellent, but I do think the actors are cute and overall it’s cute. I wrote based on your description and my experience watching Japanese live-action dramas.

I don’t remember a motorcycle in those series either... By the way, I’m not praising or glorifying the drama, I’m just replying to him and his assumption about how things are supposed to be. I think you’re mixing in your own interpretation and things you personally feel about the characters. It’s like when you read a book and the director sees it one way while the reader sees it another way — that’s what’s happening here too. And actually, based on your own description, Minato fits very well. I haven’t read the manga, but from the character traits you mentioned, he seems appropriate.

As for live-action adaptations not resembling the manga, I disagree. 99% of the time, the Japanese live action looks very similar to the manga in the series I watch, and most of the time it even surpasses it. There are occasional imperfections, but that usually happens when the manga itself isn’t perfect.

This is a scene from the manga, and I took it as part of the fantasy. In the manga it’s still somewhat acceptable to have scenes that are detached from reality, even though they make no sense. I thought the Japanese would be responsible enough to leave it only in the manga and not actually put it in the live-action series… but I was surprised to find out it’s already in ..It’s probably airing so late at night that they just didn’t put any regulations on it.

How did you find this?? But I’m missing the song — I thought it was the intro of the track that plays in the middle of the episode. Weird.

This is what I was thinking — I thought about all the serious complications you can get from getting a belly-button piercing at home; it’s much worse than just an infection… lol. And others here were surprised when I wrote that. I find it hard to understand this scene.

Each episode is better than the one before. It’s so fun to watch, and so frustrating that we have to wait a whole week for the next one.
