I imagined that they think it's attractive

It seems like the story is headed in a very dark direction.

Episode 4 felt weaker to me than the previous ones, and I don’t even know why. There's something about this series that just doesn't work sometimes. The lead actor, is absolutely stunning, while the secondary actor isn’t quite in the same league for my taste (though that's just personal preference, of course; he's still handsome and surely attractive to many viewers). Both of them are excellent actors, but the storyline is probably what's just not engaging enough. There's also a certain sense of detachment, like a person suddenly appears out of nowhere and moves in with him—there's nothing to really ground the story. It's obviously a kind of romantic fantasy, but something still feels missing.

I had nothing to watch, so I binge-watched it, and it was just so-so. The background music was really distracting, and overall it felt like it wasn't edited seriously or with attention to details and plot—pretty pointless.

Are there any good romantic series lately that aren't on Netflix? I would love some recommendations (not thriller, fantasy).

"everything is beautiful and nothing hurts' type of show." - The series doesn't delve deeply into loneliness, but it still addresses it throughout, so I don't think that's accurate.

I didn't mention anyone's profile name, why do you think it's about you, besides the fact that you're talking about racism towards the Chinese who themselves are more racist than anyone else? Your response is very strange.

It's at least a 9. But there are specific people from specific places who seem to enjoy lowering the ratings... They mostly just don’t like Japanese series, They maybe watching or not, yet they still give them low scores. I saw one of them in the reviews here. If you go through all the series they review, it's always 4s and 5s for Japanese ones. It seems ridiculous to me.

I’m guessing, if you’re not Chinese, then you’re most likely American? There are specific groups that consistently critique in a particular way, and if I saw some variety in your scores, I’d say you’re objective or reasonable. But in your case, it looks very consistent, which seems strange to me.

Both actors are stunning and talented. I really like the lead actor, which is why I stuck with it for several episodes despite the overwhelming boredom, until I couldn't anymore. But even with their incredible beauty, it doesn't help. I wrote a harsh review about this on the series's page.

Are You’re Chinese? 99% of your reviews of Japanese series are negative. The question is, why do you keep watching them if you’re suffering so much?

I understand your sorrow and desire for everything to be fair, but you are very, very naive, and your perspective comes from a European bubble that doesn't understand other cultures or complexity in general.
That's your weakness, and others know it and exploit it. If you're not happy with their approach, why don't you promote your own approach in a place where it's possible and watch or make your movies in Europe? It's interesting that you come to watch Japanese and Asian films when you already have enough films in Europe and the U.S and you don't even like Japan.
