This version is, of course, much better than the Thai version, no doubt about it. The actors are better, the acting is more convincing, and overall, it looks much better.
Cute movie, but the main character really annoys me with his endless silence and stuttering. I don’t understand how one can fall in love with someone who doesn’t respond when you talk to them, It’s also hard to comprehend the guy who lives in such a difficult situation without his parents and falls in love with someone he would need to teach and raise; this means there isn't really any connection, even if it's a fantasy there needs to be some realistic connection that moves you.
The actors are perfect, beautiful, and talented, with incredible chemistry between them. The story is wonderful, touching and charming. However, despite all these perfections, there is a miss, because it has so much potential for longer episodes. Everything progresses too quickly ,It focuses intensely on the two stunning and central characters, with occasional shifts to secondary characters, but it's not enough to delve deeper. Sometimes, zooming out is necessary to become more excited and connect more with the characters.
I'm really disappointed, and I also feel some regret about a comment I wrote to someone who complained about the female character. I guess it's clearer now when you see her posters in the room and then her father walks in... it's somewhat repulsive , I must admit. They seem to market it as a romantic comedy or whatever, but it's something else entirely , romance was thrown out the window by episode 6 and it's not coming back.
Although starting a family is probably one of the most important things in life, there are far too many people who shouldn’t have become parents. It’s so hard to watch such crazy parents, like a mother screaming at her child just because he’s gay. It’s horrifying;
The lead actress is so beautiful; with each episode, she seems even more beautiful to me. Truly one of the most beautiful actresses I’ve seen. It’s also increasingly disappointing with each episode that she simply can’t act… Still, Episode 6 was really lovely. .
Does anyone know the end of this story if happy or not?
Anyone who starts watching this realizes from the first episode that the ending is sad, but I still think it's worth watching. It’s a beautiful series.
I fell in love with this series, at least initially in Episode 1, although it's one of the weaker Japanese productions in terms of casting and editing. The rain scene, for example, is poorly executed—the actor is inadvertently spitting water while talking, which ends up being unintentionally humorous. The casting choices are puzzling; they seem to be trying to emulate the look of the Thai version. Despite its flaws, the show has its charms, and I'm confident it will surpass the Thai version in many respects. The original Thai version had a strong start, and the lead actor was truly stunning, but my interest waned halfway through, and I ended up dropping it. Regardless, the Japanese typically manage to produce quality work, even if it occasionally resembles a student film.
He only act. Obviously the director probably gave him a role of being a gloomy and non-expressive character. Watch…
I've seen most of his series and movies (JACK O' FROST and more), because there aren't many translated series and movies. I'm not basing my opinion solely on that one series, but of course, if you like him, I respect that and it's your right to feel that way. There's actually a series where he smiles a lot, I don't even remember the name of the series. I saw one scene and that was enough for me, it doesn't suit him in my opinion, of course, and that's just my opinion. Again, I respect you and continue to enjoy watching him.
