Are You’re Chinese? 99% of your reviews of Japanese series are negative. The question is, why do you keep watching them if you’re suffering so much?

You expect all series to end the same way, but I'm sorry to tell you that Japan doesn't follow formulas like Korea,…
I understand your sorrow and desire for everything to be fair, but you are very, very naive, and your perspective comes from a European bubble that doesn't understand other cultures or complexity in general.
That's your weakness, and others know it and exploit it. If you're not happy with their approach, why don't you promote your own approach in a place where it's possible and watch or make your movies in Europe? It's interesting that you come to watch Japanese and Asian films when you already have enough films in Europe and the U.S and you don't even like Japan.

I'm sorry to say this, but Japan can't afford this; their population is already in decline. you have the audacity to talk about Japan, which is still a free country compared to what's coming your way.

Take care of your own country, because meanwhile, you are the ones allowing much worse values to take over your continent... Soon you won't have any rights at all, and it will be far worse than in Japan. At least in Japan, there's no such hypocrisy.

This show is a perfect example, that mdl ratings have no use. The Show is nice to watch gives you a good feeling,…
I've just re watched this series again today. Since it aired in 2022, I've watched it endlessly from the start to the last episode a million times without skipping a moment, because there wasn't a single boring scene, and it's extremely funny. So for me, it's a 10 in rating.

Some people rated it low because they were bothered by the lack of a kiss at the end, or as you'll see in the reviews, those annoyed ones who don't appreciate Japanese series and live-action manga characters. One even gave it a mere 1.5 in a review because it wasn't interesting to him and it didn't portray a "healthy relationship", or because they prefer the Chinese over the Japanese, or they oppose its fantasy and manga elements and want it to be more realistic, or because they don't like gays, or they themselves are gay and dislike how gays are depicted in the manga style or think the characters are too stereotypical.

This site can't control their ratings. It's not possible.

You must be one of those people who watch China BL and say that they treat gays well.

I just finished watching a 12-episode series that was dragged out unnecessarily and could have ended in 9 episodes. On the other hand, returning to this series that didn’t have a single dull moment and realizing that in just two days it’ll end after only 9 episodes is really disappointing. It’s frustrating that where we actually need a few more episodes,.

Izumi’s got this deep, resonant voice that sounds like it should belong to a rugged lumberjack, not a baby-faced,…
The casting of the actor was done perfectly in line with the manga, and I think it’s one of Japan’s most successful castings. The characters feel much richer than in the manga, and the match between them is flawless. I don’t think a better casting could have been done. As for the head pats—it’s embarrassing. It’s funny and awkward, and I find myself telling the screen, "They’re not dogs!" On the other hand, there’s a certain sweetness to it, and we need some connection to the series’ title… after all.

You expect all series to end the same way, but I'm sorry to tell you that Japan doesn't follow formulas like Korea, Thailand, or America, and luckily for us, it doesn't.

What a disappointing series. I'm not even sure if it's worth bothering to write a review. It started off weak, boring, and slow, but then it picked up nicely for a few episodes. Up until episode 9, everything was decent and enjoyable, with some really cute moments. However, the romance dragged on and on until the very last moment, and even then, it wasn't satisfying. I could barely watch the final episode. It's a shame because there were enough episodes to deliver a better ending.

The main character is dull and boring, and it doesn't help that the actress is stunning because even the colors, the drawn-out script, and the lack of interest... everything is boring. Skurai is one of the actors who puts me to sleep more than anyone else. Despite his handsome face, he consistently lacks facial expressions in all his series; he is like some kind of human robot.

No thank you, I prefer it to stay a small club.
Once something becomes popular, considerations and the need to align with a broader spectrum of viewers arise, which means being as uncreative as possible, adhering to certain norms. The actors will look a certain way, the dialogue will be a certain way, and the script will need to be confined to certain rules.

Either you didn’t understand me, or I didn’t explain it to you properly: it’s better to have fewer but higher-quality productions than many popular ones.

I thought there would be 10 episodes! This week is the last one 😭We need another season then… GagaOOlala…
They said from the beginning that there would be 9 episodes, but it turns out MDL site constantly misleads and makes us expect more. At least one more episode should be added , especially since the manga continues after they get together. It’s a shame it ended so quickly.
