I couldn't watch all the episodes, which is a bit disappointing. On the other hand, the series is frustrating based on what I did manage to watch. There aren't too many dialogues, and when they do speak, there are long silences. The actor Komagine Kiita, paradoxically, is a portrait of the character, he doesn't have convincing acting skills in this case. It feels like he's forcing himself into the role. The other actor isn't great either, but at least it shows that he's trying to get into character. I didn't like the two characters; they feel a bit too caricatured. As I always write, if they are caricatures, there should be an aspect of humor or added value. In this case, the attraction between them isn't satisfying. If they had gone further, it might have worked. It's also unclear why they are dragging it out so much. It feels like each episode is on the verge of being good, but then it's a bit disappointing and doesn't really go anywhere again.
I really love both of them, very cute. There is the movie too, and I haven't watched it yet... I don't know if it's better to watch it after or before. If anyone knows, I would appreciate an opinion.
A cute series, but shallow and not well-edited, so I don't even have the ability to write a review because there's not much to write about. It starts as a fluffy comedy and then turns into a somewhat disjointed drama. One of the main characters (Iwanaga) changes completely and appears in a different light without any connection to how they were initially portrayed. However, Furuya Robin is stunningly beautiful. It's a fun watch to pass the time and feel a few butterflies.
Iām bracing myself to try and finishing this drama after so many failed attempts š. I couldnāt stand the…
The editors' terrible choice of American songs is intentional to emphasize the direction of the series, just like in their other series, deliberately avoiding Korean songs. (Read my review and you'll understand).
I wrote a review of this wonderful series, hoping it will help viewers better understand its essence. The series' writer is extraordinarily talented and takes us out of the box, much like in his other series . He allows us to dive into Korean society with full force without losing interest, while utilizing South Korea's leading industry: the romantic film industry.
You are so, so right! I thought about giving up on this series because the music is so terrible and repetitive. I even wrote a scathing review about the music. The absurdity is that this is a very hardcore Korean series, and yet we hear pretentious, arrogant, Western folk music. There is no connection between the essence of the music itself (except for the lyrics) and the story and characters, and it detracts a lot. However, I muted the scenes with those songs or skipped them, and I think the series is worth watching. But I definitely understand you.Maybe you should read my review and you'll be able to get past it.
Come on the songs were really good, though same song playing every 10 minutes might be irritating but definitely…
They remind me of Chinese songs in their natureāuninspired and repetitive. Usually, indie films use folk music as if it were some elite and unique style, but the opposite is true. If it were Korean folk music, it might be forgivable. Here, you are watching a hardcore Korean movie and expecting to hear Korean music in the background, and then they bring you uninspired American music.
