Really?!?!? Is this really supposed to be cute?!?!? Ep 1 JiSub moves forcibly into JinWoo's house and refuses…
The beginning is very aggressive, unconvincing, and doesn't make you want to keep watching. It creates a very unpleasant and uncomfortable feeling, not romantic in any way.
On Boys Be Brave! Jul 10, 2024
Slow, tedious, unnatural, an aggressive and unrealistic start, unconvincing, not romantic, and with so much makeup and lipstick that it's unbearable.
On Takara's Treasure Jul 9, 2024
The series so unnaturally slow In terms of the characters' response time, the dialogues are poor. But Yoji Iwase is really beautiful and overall it's entertaining.
On Aoshima-kun Is a Bully! Jul 9, 2024
The lead actress is the least attractive of all the Japanese series I've watched. Her antagonism is also not clear at all. Just because she is 34 years old doesn't mean she should also look old. It's a bit annoying

The most watched thing is violence. It was like this 10 years ago, I don't think anything has changed.
It is possible that my sensitivity threshold has also increased. For me, it came across as too violent and didn't sit well with a fantasy series that seemed childish. The whole thing with the cat, the magic, and the fortune-tellers, there's a familiar mix here, no doubt, but here it's at both extremes.

There was a mistake; it's not the same actress I thought. I don't know why it led to the page of a different actress altogether.

I think you're exaggerating a bit, I don't think this drama contains a lot of violence, I've seen a lot of dramas…
I'm talking about the differences compared to 10 years ago. The level of violence has intensified. I don't know what you usually watch, but it sounds like you might have seen many violent series.

The fact that FL already loves the ML but the SML being a piece of shit trying to meddle in her life is particularly…
I noticed that he is very nice to the young woman. I'm only on episode 3, but what really annoyed me was his aggressive treatment of the "older" woman. I can understand that it's off-putting, but they took it to the extreme in a way that was supposed to be humorous but wasn't successful. Usually, Korean women get very upset in such situations, but that didn't happen here, which might be the most frustrating part. They could have stretched it to a point where he faces consequences for his actions, but that didn't happen.

I love the main actresses, but this series is problematic like many Korean dramas. The violence level is very high, yet at the same time, it's somewhat childish. They always mix several genres in the strangest way.
There are also many scenes that try to be comedic but aren't funny at all. They could have made it hysterically funny, but that doesn't happen here.

Overall, the series is very cute and leaves the viewer wanting more, Yet It's very hard to understand the thirst for violence in their series. Maybe I'm wrong and someone can correct me, but I remember there used to be stricter censorship on violence in such series, which aren't pure thrillers or suspense genres. The violence has become more extreme, aggressive, and explicit, with less censorship. Again, maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I remember from more than 10 years ago.

Aren't koreans actors typecast?I have accidentally started two of his latest dramas at the same time and in both…
It might have been like that in the past, but today, the more experience one has, the more opportunities there are. I remember him from Reply 1994; his character was completely different from the role he played in 2023.

It started boring, continued to be boring and awful, and ended in an unbearable way.

Title The Date of Marriage Spoiler
The series started off very cute, although the main actor is boring and his acting is banal. He was supposed to be robotic in nature, but he was boring and uninteresting in every way. He's cute but doesn't look younger than her, rather the same age, which made it weird. At some point, there was supposed to be a love confession between them, but each understood something different, which was incredibly frustrating to the point of total stupidity. Resolving it from there was a bit difficult. Then, there was the most annoying trope in Japanese series of leaving for training or a job promotion. It's unclear why they don't think of other occurrences besides this annoying one. Additionally, being boring, there wasn't enough chemistry between them to keep the series interesting when they already became a couple. Overall, it's a bit disappointing because the actress is cute, and overall, there were some very cute moments.
