The choice of American songs in the series is unbearable. It's very difficult to watch scenes with these terrible songs in the background. There is such beautiful music in SKorea, Yet they chose to incorporate horrible music.

The only reason I watched this was because of the stunningly beautiful actress. She is so mesmerizing that I said okay and watched all her scenes. From the beginning, I understood that the series is basically a tribute to her beauty, because there is no serious plot, no significant or human dialogues, and certainly no chemistry. The actor is completely out of her league. This could have worked if at least he had an interesting personality, but there was nothing about him, including his appearance, that was worth the heart or moved me. He acts okay, he is overall handsome, but there was nothing that made him attractive enough in a series that mainly does close-ups of beauty and faces.
That is, we certainly got to see every possible angle of the beautiful actress's face, but at the same time, there was really nothing to see when they showed the others.
To be honest, I was also very, very surprised by her blatant dress style. It wasn't like this in Korean dramas a few years ago. a lot has changed, and it's a bit hard to digest.
It's quite a shame because, in some way, it even contradicted the whole message of the series, where she suffers from being looked at for her body, takes slimming pills, and in the end, they focus on her body. We are talking about scenes and clothing considered bold. Young women didn't dress like this a few years ago.
Another annoying thing was the cigarettes. It was censored in the past and wasn't legitimate. Suddenly, we see the long continuous advertisement for cigarettes, and it causes more nausea, as if to connect beauty with the stench of this disgusting product. It's not clear where SKorea is going; it’s very disappointing.

Now I started watching it on Netflix and didn't remember anything about it. It's like I have a vague idea about the series, but it's as if it was erased from my memory. I came back here to check, and indeed, in 2016,I complete it and thought it was 7.5. Apparently, 7 points series don't stay in memory for long.

The editing wasn't successful or interesting enough for me to continue watching it, but I skipped to the end because I already knew where it was leading since the plot is quite banal and overused.

Inoue Mao is a good actresses, but she has changed and looks very pale. It was a bit hard for me to digest. They dressed her in clothes that made her look even paler, along with the haircut, makeup, and lighting. It's really not fair to her.

The lead actor is one of the actors who stars on Netflix, He is a Smart business man, and I was very surprised to watch him in videos on YouTube. It made me realize that he has been acting since childhood and has certain abilities, even though he's not the best actor. He plays a variety of characters, which made me appreciate him more.
It could be that because he's not the best actor and has to carry a role that's too big for him, it's part of the problem. But it's clear that's not the main issue with this series.
I also can't say it's bad because I didn't manage to watch the whole thing, and it didn't appeal to me. It might be that if you like this kind of drama, it will speak to you more.

If I had read your comment before remembering that I wrote a harsh review of this series 4 years ago, I would probably have reacted differently. But now, after 4 years, I can tell you that one day after couple of years you might want to watch it again too, and your opinion will likely change. This happens because we live in a world that is becoming fascist; everything needs to be correct, healthy, balanced, and wise... everyone needs to be in line. It seems to take time to understand this...but it's OK to be stupid and watch stupid dramas for time to time, it's relaxing.

Episode 1 was cute, and the actor Itagaki Mizuki is truly charming, but by episode 2 I felt like I wasn't watching a Japanese series but a Hallmark movie. I don't even know why, perhaps because such a silly and clichéd plot doesn't have enough live action or humor. My stomach cramped from the unbearable banality of this jealousy plot and evil versus a good that recognizes its sin. The series is produced in a coarse and graceless manner that won't be remembered in the consciousness of the viewers.

It's a cute movie, but it feels a bit rushed in its processes, lacking depth or dialogue. It's suitable for entertainment, but it can't really be said to be very romantic.

What made this movie successful is that they maintain the humor until the end, something that doesn't happen often in movies.
