Apology for commenting on a different drama but if I remember correctly, he was cured at the end in Legend of Fei. The prescription for the antidote was in the long lost book they found and got cut in half.
In ep1 when young XY carry young QX on her back their convo is about being together forever as siblings. But in a teaser it shows the same scene but the convo changed to be marry as husband and wife. Is that QX delusion and his memory changed?

The scene when she was at the river looking at her reflection that kept changing and she asked herself who she is sticks in my mind and make me thinks she doesn't remember who she is.
I really want to know more about her. What happened to her upbringing after she left the mountain? Why did she re-appear without her memory, not knowing who she is? etc.

I was the same. I almost didn't start because of the title. But I haven’t been disappointed in any drama I watched that the lead actress is in so I bit the bullet and extremely glad that I did. It is such a great drama. It would have been a huge lost for me if I had skipped it.
I'm with you. I've never favored cruel people such as XL. The way he treats her is atrocious.
I get it and I understand each character motivation and background.
With that understanding though, for me, I wouldn't choose to be with someone who continually hurt me. Next time, my leg may not heal, or my head may crack from falling off a tree. But that's just me. :)
That would put her in serious danger if it's widely known. The way XL is doing now, taking liberty grabbing her and using her as his own personal medicine without her consent. I loathe it. :(
