I disagree with almost everything you said. I know we are going round and round, so the last thing I'll say is, in my opinion the Li's went too far, and were too harsh. Having them treat him like that and be so smug really soured the last four episodes for me. Disappointed with the writing

Hmm, I'm talking about the guy who repented of his mistakes and treated his wife well. Who defended her from others and stood by her when others criticized. He was certainly flawed and a bully at first but at least he wasn't a hypocrite. The Li's said they forgave him and the past was the past.He was at his lowest point trying to start from the bottom. They owed him for saving 4th. And yes, they literally laughed at his misery. They said he was one of them and then when hard times came they forced him to leave. I know they meant well, but in my opinion it was wrong, manipulative and cruel. They could have helped him and guided him. Instead he had to go find "an adopted Father" to show him the way. Why not his 4 older brother in-laws? Isn't family supposed to be there through storms?

Would have loved to see Yang Xian get some revenge on them! They never treated him honestly. It would have been fun to see him have the upper hand for once

Yes! He saved 4th sister's life. Leshan did not honor the deal she made with him and no one held her accountable for breaking her word. Yes, he did wrong her by stealing her that day, but he already apologized and improved himself, even rushing to a fire to save her. He was about to win the bet and the whole family worked together to trick him. They want to make him a "better man" news flash, he already is better, and they are already married. Dishonor on you and your cow!

The Li family did not do right by Yang Xian! I really liked this drama until the last 4 episodes, but that whole story line was bad. The Li's were smug and arrogant forcing him to leave but also to divorce Leshan (as an insurance policy in case he didn't make it back) At his lowest point they used schemes and lies to manipulate him, and then laughed at his misery. All to "teach him a lesson" Talk about lack of respect! Leshan so easily abandoning her in-laws when they fell on hard times was not a good look either. Honestly the adopted sister was right! Leshan did not deserve his sincerity. She did not apologize for her family deceiving him, well intentioned or not. Instead the family arrogantly brushes him off, and blame him for not writing when they literally scammed and insulted him. If the Li family would have guided him, and Leshan stuck by him through thick and thin and grown together, that would have been a beautiful love story. Instead they took the easy way, sent him off (if he dies, oh well) and then treat him badly when her returns. Not happy how the writers wrote this one

Yes! They did not respect him to communicate clearly. Instead they forced Leshan to abandon him at his lowest point. Frankly, after the 3 years she did not deserve him.

Episode 30 was fun, but I think the brothers took it a little too far. The man did save 4th sisters life. Chai an is lucky he married in 1st or they might have beat him up for all the stuff he pulled! Hope we can see some sweetness develope with 5th

I'm ready for 4th and 5th sister's stories! The whole cast is doing great, but it's hard to balance 5 leads...

The tests are a bit much. She is not being understanding of the fact that the Bride was switched on him! She says she doesn't forget a slight, but he was insulted first. He is obviously trying to make things right, she needs to stop being so entitled. I do still like her, but I hope the writers don't drag this out
