I don't mind the large amount of flashback focusing on the parents, but I wish they had spaced them out more and…
I wish they focused on parents in the present, instead of flashbacks to connect dots or whatever they should've just switched the focus to the parents.
Honestly, it started out well and then just got so boring with the typical superhero romance and superheroes assemble…
For a kdrama this is fresh and out of the box and could have done without the typical teen romance cliches you see in shitload other dramas but at least it wasn't unbearable.
How did ppl get through this drama ? Let alone like it it’s painfully slow and spends way too much time focusing…
It's actually easy to get into and watch and so easy to binge watch, and I can't say that about most other kdramas out there. As for Joo Won, out of all MCs he was the only one done dirty and deserved justice! Superpowers/superheroes and this being the first kdrama of its kind??(not sure about that) is mainly why I think it was so hyped.
I dropped this drama after ep 5. The plot seemed to go nowhere. And the serial killer really had no purpose of…
It was all coincidences but the serial killer believed it was his calling to kill human trash with his... superpowers... he believed it was his purpose in life or that's at least what his 'sidekick' made him believe. This honestly would've been a totally different show without the cops. The only problem is he was a scaredy cat who's hard to believe he could kill a single soul.
And I agree this would've worked better as a movie, it even felt as one.
This was hard to watch tbh, it took until Song Chon was introduced for it to become entertaining (the team did a great job making the actor look believable old btw) and felt more like an 8 hours long movie than a drama, also, Seon Yeo Ok was too good, wish they didn't waste her early on, she was ballsy stupid anyways to blackmail Lee Tang in her home with no protections whatsoever, but then again, I get the plot wouldn't move on in the intended direction if they kept her alive. And Jang Nan Gam made a wrong decision to let Lee Tang go because 10/10 he'll kill again.
I was enjoying the story line with Bong Seok, Hee Soo and Kang Hoon but once the flashbacks came, It became so…
Just finish it, no point dropping it with just 2 episodes left. The ending may not be great but wasn't disappointing at the same time imho, they could have extended it to at least one or two more episodes, tho.
I had to drop the show at episode 16, The flashbacks were killing me.
I may be the only one but I liked the flashbacks a bit more especially thanks to Jang Joo Won's 3/4 centered episodes, they were like the only episodes, wish they focused more on him.
Was anyone else a little worried about the conversation where Jihee talked about having a baby? Maybe it was the…
I thought she would cheat too when Jang Joo Won went away for too long, glad that didn't happen. Early on I even thought Hee Soo was Frank's daughter when things were unclear lmao.
I liked it but the ending was very lack luster, pretty much wrap everything up in the last 15 minutes and finish…
It was especially ridiculous in this one, Cha Tae Hyun playing teen Jeon Gye Do? I can't... And I think even 'modern day' Jang Joo Won should've been played by a younger actor, I mean, he can heal, with such powers I think he should age much slower than normal people.
Overhyped boring thriller-wannabe. A genre Kdrama seems to have invented not long ago and interestingly Han Hyo…
I agree, overhyped is what I started thinking at some point, but that's the thing with superheroes involved, this wasn't a superhero show but still close enough.
This drama is splat into 3 arcs, arc 1 about the kids spanning 7 episodes, arc 2 about the parents spanning as well 7 episodes, arc 3 is a culmination of both arcs except it isn't executed well, arc 2 is just flashbacks full of connecting dots and what feels like side stories, arc 3 is chaotic, it's just one long stretched battle (with more flashbacks) but it's a mess, both arcs 2 and 3 could have been better.
My only gripe about this drama is Na Hee Do's absurd and ridiculous fencing plot armor over Go Yu Rim, also the entire Russian arc. And kinda wish their frenemy was the main focus of the show. Besides that I'm cool with the ending it was predictable from the get go, anyone who thought Baek Yi Jin and Na Hee Do will end together were just fooling themselves because her daughter clearly stated he was her mom's ex in like the first 10 minutes of ep1... with that said, I know I subconsciously fooled myself thinking he's the dad one way or another too while being fully aware he's not at the same time! It was a story about first love and kinda fresh and unique in that regard compared to other romance dramas, at least compared to the ones I know of!
Love the themes of this drama such as living in the moment and memories but I seriously hate slice of lives, they're unbearable, had I knew I would have avoided it for that, again, not the ending! But I don't regret picking it up because it was a good pick up by the end of the day.
Last thing, this drama is the only romance drama I can name so far that made me care about the side characters and side pairings, usually I'm hating everyone, MCs included and wondering why I'm forcing myself to watch whatever I'm usually watching and that's a feat on it's own! The team behind it did a really great job at that.

Flashbacks ✔️
Last tease scene screams season 2.
