I don't really watch Xianxia dramas, or any costume dramas in fact, but I've seen really good things about this drama on all platforms, and apparently, it has a lot of kisses, which I live for. Can someone tell me if it's worth giving it a shot? Does it have a lot of romance, or is it super focused on the other stuff? Because I usually like a very romance-heavy show.

I found the villain arc of the ex actually a little interesting. While it was clearly just a small filler plot, it added a little adrenaline. And I expected the ending too, so with all that in mind, I gave it a strong 9.5. I've learned that it's best to ignore the ending and write your own for dramas like this.

Even though I saw the ending coming from a mile away before I even started the drama, I feel so utterly heartbroken and betrayed. For the sake of my mental health, the show stopped at the proposal, because I can't even think about all of Xue Jiao's hard work going down the drain, her family's lives all being horrible, all the side characters' amazing character development being undone, and the fact that Gao Rui wasn't saved. If I do, I might start crying and not stop for days. After choosing to ignore the ending, this drama gets a 9.5 from me.

I might give it a try once we get some trailers and more info about it. I usually like watching fully romance revolving ramas with only a few exceptions, though, so I'm highly doubtful that I'll like it.

Yup... Just a bit sad that I have to wait that long. At least I know that if he takes a modern drama, it's gonna be amazing.

Yup! Manifesting for her to be put in her place and stop playing the victim card all the time. Also, that Xue Jiao's brother wakes tf up and stops liking her, but I know that's nothing but a distant fantasy.

I'm a HUGE fan of Xu Kai, but none of his new dramas are in the genres I like. I really hope he'll have a few modern romance dramas soon. I miss seeing him on my screen.

Them being so greedy for views is gonna ruin the drama. As good as it is, I find myself losing interest a little because of how slow the updates are.

As of episode 16, no. All the characters except FL's brother lose contact with her after episode 10, and they all just don't question her horrible behaviour. But there's a scene of her and the FL facing off in the outro of the show, so I think they'll meet again in one of the future episodes.

Adding something in, I just saw someone on Twitter saying that there will be an express drop of the final episodes on the 22nd, so maybe there will be, but it just isn't indicated on the schedule. Hoping that's the case!! 🤞🤞🤞

Usually, if there is an express, then it'll be indicated on the official broadcasting calendar released by Youku under the SVIP section. But if you look at the calendar, it isn't indicated anywhere that we will be getting an express package. I really hope I'm wrong, though, as I would love an express drop for the last episodes.

I'm so mad we aren't getting an express for this drama. I was really looking forward to binging the last of it. 4 eps this week and 3 eps next week are absolutely crazy. And no eps on the weekend, and one ep a day. They couldn't have made a worse schedule. Is there some sort of restriction on how long they have to air it, or is it just them being greedy for money and trying to get more views?

Can someone tell me if this is worth watching? Is it just a romance with a slice of life, or is it like a typical over-the-top, with dramatic villains and multiple relationship problems before a happy ending type of drama?

I think I saw that one, but ended up not getting it due to bad reviews about that update you mentioned. I'll keep an eye out and see if it gets better soon before downloading it then. Thank you!

Yeah. As of now, they haven't released a schedule yet, so once they post it, we'll at least know how many episodes to expect in the next few days before the express package. I think we'll get the schedule tomorrow, but who really knows other than Youku?

Could you send the link for it or the name of the extension, please? I've tried some before, but gave up when all the ones I used either weren't working or I didn't try them due to bad reviews.
