I'm so excited to see LJS back in a drama, and I also love MKY's energy in all her work! I know the visuals of the mains are gonna kill in this project. I can't wait for the first episode to drop!

It's such a mess... I like him but he's too impulsive and that makes him look stupid and naive. It feels like I'm…
I love the comparison to one of those vertical dramas because I was thinking the same thing when somehow Dong Ju was all healed in ep 8 while still being in the same clothes (indicating it was the next day) after being beaten black and blue in ep 7. 😂

this shit it gonna be a k-trauma for sure
I know all the signs are pointing towards that outcome, but I desperately hope it won't be. Let my boy live happily with his hoppang for once. 😭

SOMEONE PLS EXPLAIN TO ME ABT THIS DRAMA IN A SHORT ENGAGING DESCRIPTION PLSS, I WANNA WATCH THIS BUT IT'S LIKE…
If you ask me, I'd say at least give it a try. I started watching with low expectations, but I can very safely say I'm obsessed. It's a mystery thriller with a little romance and comedy on the side about a group of ex-Olympic athletes turned cops who form a cliche underdog team and try to take down a massive gang. All the main characters have good background stories. All genres have the right proportions for the plot, and there hasn't been a single boring episode yet. As a person who usually watches kdramas on 1.5x or 1.75x speed due to the long episodes, I've been watching these without changing the playback speed since it's so good. Every single character is acted out so well that you wanna punch the villains and give a hug to the main characters sometimes. But be warned, right now there are some signs of it maybe turning into a k-trauma. I won't go into detail so as to not give away any spoilers, but if that's something you'd like to avoid, then maybe wait for it to finish airing and then watch it. I tried my best to keep it short, I hope that helps. Feel free to ask any more questions.

All the reviews say it's the best show ever, and I've seen a lot of edits on tiktok too, so I started watching this, expecting something heartwarming, but instead I think I'm gonna develop heart disease from this emotional roller coaster I'm being put on. Don't get me wrong, it's so good I can't put it down. But my heart can't take it anymore. One moment I'm happy about the main leads, the next I'm confused about who's who since there are so many characters and the politics are so complicated, or my heart is breaking for all of the side characters. I'm already on episode 30, but I seriously cannot handle any more sad scenes, or I'm gonna start crying.

AHH WE WERE ROBBED FROM THEIR WEDDING!!!! Overall - it was wholesome to watch.. but I agree plot was all over…
I feel like it was actually nice to see them just dating since they were both in a place to just calm down from all the drama they just faced, advance in their respective careers with someone to always support them, and just live the rest of their happily ever after at the pace they want. It would be better to make an extra episode just for their wedding and maybe married life, but sadly, K-dramas don't do that as far as I know.

I KNEW IT ABOUT THE HEAD NURSE!!! I literally guessed that she was his mom because of how protective she is towards him, but since they were all so sure she died, I thought that maybe she was just a relative or friend of his mom instead. I loved the reveal for that, but I wish they had revealed it earlier instead of dragging out the suspense. Revealing it in the last episode wasn't the best move since so many people were already getting bored of the suspense and just wanted to know the truth. I also think it would've been a good idea because then we could've seen some more of Ui Jun's development with her and their new dynamic after they recognize each other. I wish they had given a little more backstory time to her, though, because I'm still not fully clear on why his dad went through such great lengths to harm Ui Jun, but I guess that can be blamed on the alcohol? Other than that, the last episode was really heartwarming.

In my opinion, both halves of the show were executed well; it's just that they were two completely different genres. It started out as a slight comedy but mainly PSA type topic about alcoholism, but then moved to a mystery/thriller with a touch of romance in the second half. Both were great, but they just don't go together. They could've worked on the transition between the two genres a little better, or just split it into two shorter dramas with around 8 episodes each. But overall, I think it's worth a watch.

Li Yun Rui and Yang Yang are acting somewhat similarly, and their vibe also matches every time.
I'm 4 episodes in and I was thinking the same thing! His vibe is really similar to Yang Yang's in WRTW.

Currently at ep 9 & iam enjoying this show ..y rating is so low I find it even better than love next door
A lot of people dropped it due to Seon Uk's insufferable sister. But also for various other reasons I've seen on here such as the ML having no personality, the FL being too childish, the plot being too boring, the head nurse being a "sneaky psycho bitch", etc. Now I don't agree with any of these except for Seon Uk's sister being a hypocritical bitch, but I've decided to hang in there for the sake of everything else. But you know how it is, there's always an endless list of people ready to hate on a drama for any reason. That's why I say not to trust the ratings and just give any show you're interested in a shot. The worst that can happen is you don't like it and drop it.

So I wonder with the murder if the bullets are from Captains gun guessing they are so he will be suspended and…
I was thinking this too, but since the gun was stolen, and he was injured and at the hospital at the time of the murder, and stuff, I feel like it would be common sense it wasn't him. Plus the fact that the entire SCIT team are witnesses and were with him the whole time at a different place. But maybe they'll ignore the logic for the sake of the plot, who knows?

I don't usually watch dramas of this genre, but this one has me hooked. I NEED the next episodes right now. My heart can't handle the suspense. Episode 6 was the best one yet. I really hope this doesn't become a k-trauma, though, because all the signs are pointing towards it. I know Dong Ju is gonna get Parkinson's (that much is evident from the foreshadowing), but I hope he overcomes it in the end, I know I won't be able to take it if something happens to him. Also, WHY is he going through sooo much? I just wanna give him a hug. He's lost so much already. I feel like in the next episode he's gonna give up and lose himself in the sadness, but after Han Na talks to him, he's gonna snap out of it and use that anger and sadness to go crazy and take down Min Ju Yeong. I'm on the absolute edge of my seat waiting for the next episodes.

Sadly, it's like this in so many other dramas, too. Like, for example, I was watching Love Scout and the FL spent…
I don't think so.. I mean, yes, his being her employee was part of it, but it was also because of the actual kid. At atleast for a bit of the episode before his kid got hurt and she took her to the hospital. But maybe you're right and I'm remembering wrong, it has been a while, and I've watched a lot since then.

I don't remember the exact episode because it's been a while, but I mean when the best friend hated the ML, but the FL also got influenced by her, and she was mad and ignored him for a bit. This was all before they started dating, but I know it happened for sure, and it really annoyed me, especially since he had his personal life more together than the FL, even with the kid and everything.

The way divorcees and single parents are looked down on is gross.... I mean even her own family is like "find…
Sadly, it's like this in so many other dramas, too. Like, for example, I was watching Love Scout and the FL spent a whole episode hating the ML for having a daughter and an ex-wife. So much of Korean culture needs to be changed for things like this because every time I see Hyeon Ju, I feel so sad for her. The only people who've seen her as who she is and not just a divorced single mom are Seon Uk and Geum Ju, but after thinking about it for a while. That scene in episode 10, when she cried after Seon Uk's sister cut ties with her, broke my heart. She deserves so much better. At this point, I wish Seon Uk would cut ties with his sister, and they both just get together.

Why am I more interested in the SL players romance more than the main characters ? the father story from the ML…
Honestly, same. I'm just watching the whole show on 1.5x speed, but even with the second leads' story, we have another toxic character... Seon Uk's sister! I hate this character so much; she's literally dragging down the entire show. No empathy whatsoever to her so-called best friend and the brother she raised like a son. She's such a hypocrite and a horrible friend, too.

I knew that nurse was bad! She’s really playing the long game! i suspect she’s going to get his dad out to…
I don't think she's necessarily bad. My guess is that she's somehow related to the nurse who died and wants revenge on his dad, and maybe at first followed Ui Jun to get revenge, but slowly realized it's not his fault, and he's not like his dad and he's suffering too, so she decided to take care of Ui Jun and take revenge on his dad separately while also helping him. Her behaviour towards him just seems TOO nice to be a bad guy, you know? It's like maybe she saw him as a replacement for whatever the dead nurse was to her, and he sees her as a replacement for the parents he never had.

I'm loving the story so much! I love how they incorporate both romance and action. It's rare to see a drama that has a good balance. As someone who loves fights that have you sitting upright (those Bollywood-type fights, iykyk) as well as romance scenes that have you giggling and kicking your feet, I am SO glad I finally found something I love so much. Also, this is the first project I'm watching with like all the main leads, and I love all of their acting so much, can't wait for the next episodes.

Am I the only one who doesn't hate that the main leads met before the show, and he already likes her? Sure, them meeting and falling in love together would've been a cute idea, but this is good too. It's giving the same vibes as a noona romance when you have a hyper bf and calm gf. And I'm excited to see how their relationship develops, like how we see him bringing out a more cheerful and romantic side in her, and her helping him improve himself by being more level-headed and calm, and both of them helping each other heal from their pasts while they excel in their careers together. I just wish there was no love triangle but I guess there's no drama nowadays without one.
