Wu Hankun looks like Wu Lei's distant cousin 😭 as I'm watching this drama I can't get over how much he looks…
Omg I said the same thing!!! The first scene he was in, I had to do a double-take bc I thought Wu Lei was making a guest appearance or something. And his hairstyle in this is super similar to Wu Lei's hair in Nothing But You, which makes them even more similar!!
I really like dramas like this where they show normal young love, where they meet and fall in love without any mysterious childhood bond or love triangle. Just pure first love and the challenges that come with it. So far, I'm hooked. Hope it doesn't disappoint later on.
is it starting off set in the past then will progress to present day?
The start is present day since it doesn't say specifically that it's in the past, it just shows a time skip later on. So both times are present day, depending on how you look at it.
Is the timeline for this drama from college life to adult life?
The beginning is right after their high school graduation. And based on the description, I'm assuming that it's from pre-college life to college life. But maybe there'll be clips of their adult life at the end as an epilogue?
Is it just me, or does the actor who plays Zhu Yin Qi look really similar to Wu Lei (Leo Wu)?? When I first saw him, I thought it was Wu Lei! His facial structure matches his quite a bit, and I think his hair looks similar to how Leo had it in one of his shows, but I can't remember which one. Anyone else feel the same way??
I'm not ready for the rollercoaster of feelings in tomorrow's episode. I was hoping the love triangle would be done in one episode and just a small side plot, but it looks like it'll be part of the main plot. At least the ex is someone handsome like YYS ig. 🤷♀️
It progresses well, and it's the cliche spoiled chaebol guy and down-to-earth hard-working girl meet, and he falls for her freshness trope. But it's done well. The comedy and dialogue add a lot to it. It's worth a try. You can always drop it if it's not for you.
I'm scared of how fast the romance has progressed already. Now, que the messy exes, her past life, his hidden identity, and a few more misunderstandings until they finally talk it out. But I am excited for Yoo Yeon Seok tomorrow!
Is it just me, or did anyone else catch KSR's character say "Lovely Jogger" is a famous TV show? The first thing I thought of when they said that was "Lovely Runner".
One genuine doubt !!! "Divorced Single mother facing hardships and struggles" !!! --- Where did even her daughter…
The daughter was mentioned a few times in the present, when the FL was video calling her. The reason we don't actually see it in person and not on a screen, other than the flashbacks, is that in the present, she was at a school abroad. She is also mentioned a few times during conversations between the ML and FL, but other than that, she isn't very involved since this is a very romance-revolving drama. Hope this helps!
I watched this drama while it was airing, and just saw it while I was scrolling through my completed watching list. I feel like we moved on from this drama way too fast. It was a good watch since it had a mix of so many genres. The only flaw was that I had to keep going back to previous episodes during the 4th and 5th storylines to remember who some of the side characters were. It would've been nice if they included flashbacks to the previous episodes of sorts, so the viewers have an easier time remembering the plot and characters. Especially since it was a 36-episode drama with a lot of information and plot to remember.
You know what's wild. If Shiqi had let his father, who hates him, die at the hands of Sun jing, then, his brothers…
Thank you for finally saying it!! This is the one thought that always popped into my head while watching the show! Like, yes, I understand that his father would've been a better option than Sung King, since he would've been just stupid but not evil like Sung King, but you could've atleast made him realize it was him helping and not his two useless sons. I mean, his father made so many exceptions for those two, and poor Li Ni was left by himself all the time? Even when it came to marrying A'Ying, his father didn't even ask if he was interested, too! Li Ni was just too level-headed imo. If it were me, I would've told him to either give me some respect or go die with his sons without my help!
