The ending left an after taste like it was frozen for sometime before serving. The cooking time wasn't enough I…
More like the cooking time was wasted on a side dish (the Sapporo arc) that nobody wanted, needed, or liked.

I feel sorry for the creators, makers and actors. This drama had great potential and good chemistry between the…
Agreed. The whole subplot felt like filler with no real addition to the show. The show could've easily been 8 episodes, and they could've made YYS's "cameo" an actual cameo by just putting him in for one episode for the jealousy effect and to stoke the embers of the main leads' relationship. If they did that, I think the rating and viewership would be MUCH higher.

Surprised this is a 16 episode drama. Most dramas nowadays are 10 or 12. I'm currently on the second episode, and I just hope it stays interesting like it is now and it doesn't flop like a few other dramas I've recently watched.

I had higher hopes for it, but it was a good show. I liked the comedy it had compared to the drama and heavier themes you get a lot more nowadays. I'm glad they didn't give the mom a shitty redemption arc and have his family hug and cry over the food and make up like i expected since so many dramas like this do. 9.0 stars for me, could've been better but I still like it.

I know! It's getting to the point where it's almost painful to watch. Now, I'm watching every scene she's in on 1.75x speed just to refrain from throwing my laptop across the room!

Does anybody know if this drama had any episodes cut? While watching, I felt like there were a lot of rushed scenes, and there was a feeling of gaps in the plot. The development of a lot of subplots and the main lead's relationship in some parts also felt a little rushed, and the only possible answer I can come up with is that there were some episodes that were cut post-production, and they did their best with what they had to piece it together.

I don't really get the hate on this one. Although it's not a good choice if you're looking for something deep with a lot of meaning and a good plot, it's a great pure fluff drama for watching when you just need something to pass the time or brighten your day. I liked the development of the romance between all three couples. The main lead didn't have any misunderstandings or fights and showed a healthy relationship. If you want something that's lighthearted, doesn't need too much attention to detail and memory, and can be used as a pick-me-up when needed, this is perfect.

actually i can't understand the SML sister too, he is an adult not a child a 30 + man can choose what's right…
Not just that, but she's being a huge hypocrite! In a previous episode, she complained to the SFL about how her mother-in-law is rude to her just because her husband couldn't marry someone better, but she's doing the same thing! She literally even started hating on and attacking the FL when she only guessed that she was with the SML, with no confirmation whatsoever.

Although the ML gets a little controlling and possessive around the end, it's mainly due to his past experiences and his inexperience in dating and living a joint life with someone else. He actually learns his mistakes and makes an effort to apologize, so the FL forgiving him is well deserved. I loved the time skip ending, for some reason, it makes so much sense for the characters to get married like that. Overall really good drama and is totally worth the watch.

Is this worth watching? I've seen a few edits on tiktok, but none really show the plot, and I'm a bit on the fence because there are a lot of other things I could watch too. Also, if someone could tell me like the main genres and which ones are more subtle, that would be great because I tend to like things with more romance and comedy, along with a bit of mystery and suspense. But if it's mainly just like action, I might skip. Please help.

I never thought about it that way, but you're totally right. I feel like I would definetly be more pissed if they put the main leads through more conflicts or give them a stupid misunderstanding since we've already been through the ex part and they had that big misunderstanding in the past which already caused them to miss out on like 6 years (i dont remember the exact number of years). Thankfully, they're making it a wholesome and healing adult relationship and making the second couple the one with problems. Thanks for the extra perspective!

I'm getting kinda annoyed at BSU's sister now. At first, her behaviour was understandable since she raised him and everything, and just wanted him to find a good person. And it was even a little understandable when she attacked Geum Ju since she thought she was two-timing Ui Jun and Seon Uk (even though she shouldn't have attacked her in the middle of the street before giving her a chance to explain). But it is absolutely unnecessary and hypocritical of her to say that Geum Ju isn't worthy of Seon Uk just because of a broken engagement, especially after she knew it was her ex who cheated and not her alcoholism. And don't even get me started on how she was looking down on divorcees right in front of her divorced "best friend". Her mother-in-law treats her badly just because of her background, and now she wants to do the same thing to any prospective sister in law she might have? After everything we've seen about her, all I'm getting is that she's a bad friend and a sister without boundaries. I hope she actually understands her mistakes and apologizes to everyone before getting a good redemption arc, or that the other characters come to their senses and put her in her place. Either way, she's insufferable. Thank you for reading my rant, if you did read the whole thing. I know it's a bit long, but I just had to get out all of my feelings about this.

i was more interested in the ML story but they wrapped it so quick now that they're dating i lost interest
Well, there's definitely more to it since we saw the head nurse talk to his father with all that hate in her voice. The only thing about him that's been revealed is why he quit and why he feels guilty and stuff. There's a lot more suspense left for the rest of the story, though. Personally, I can't wait to find out more.

Just finished episode 8, now that the subplot with the ex is over and we're finally back on track with the main plot, it's a lot better. Episode 8 finally brought us back to the main plot, and I'm just excited to see if they can manage to end it properly by tying it all together in a good ending. Honestly, they could've made the drama 8 episodes and cut out the Japan arc and had the ex show up in only one episode. It would've made it less boring, but everything adds to the character development, I guess. Can't wait to see how it ends. I hope everyone gets a happy and deserved ending.

Yoo Yeon Seok Could’ve definitely said no to this drama.
I was excited to see him in a cameo, but it turned into basically a supporting character. It would've been fun if he was just there for a little jealousy and feeling stirring in like half an episode, but giving him his own sub-plot worth 2+ episodes is overdoing it.

I'm on episode 6 right now. This show had such a great and promising beginning, but after the ex arc started, it's all going downhill. I had really high hopes for this to be just a light-hearted show about cooking with an enemies-to-lovers plot. I didn't expect it to have so much angst and just unnecessary filler plots. At this point, watching it is starting to feel like a chore and not sitting down to enjoy a drama. I just don't have the heart to drop it since I'm curious about the ending, so I'm watching it on 2x speed. I hope they can redeem it in the final episodes next week, even just a little.

Loved the drama, especially the second half of it after they got into university. The couple's communication skills and chemistry were really good. I also loved the second couple. The only downside was the kiss scenes and how badly executed they were, but it's easy to look past when considering all the other aspects of the drama. It's a great story about young love and is pretty different from other dramas since it starts in the summer before university, which I've never seen before. Overall, gave it 9 stars. This will be going on my list of comfort shows to rewatch for sure. Hope to see more of the actors soon in other projects.
