Title The Guardians Spoiler
I think there's a lot of material for a second season and maybe Do Han isn't dead but in a coma... i hope....
I just finsihed watching 2mins ago and came here for some news because it can't just be it. I was like "hein?" then "WTF...?" "where's the rest? No. That's it". We don't know if psycho kid is alive, if the procecutor is alive, they have that cop who tried to arrest him and his bro for identity fraud and breach of communiction law who is now after them (bitter much?). I mean... Too much loose ends. Maybe it is like "Mystery Queen" and a 2 will be there... Wait I just checked and it is already 1year old (almost). Why do I feel it was out like a few months ago? Anywoo... I missed that rap song from the beginning thought. It mean BUSINESS!!! "Close your eyes...." don't no the words but banging man!

I, on the other hand, prefer the 2001 Taiwanese. It was the best! Not part 2 though, it was painful to watch.…
The Taiwanese version was also my favorite. This is when I discovered Jerry Yan lol. Yep let's just hope. I think they're trying to correct their wrong. They know they messed up... I still cannot remimber 1 scene of that Chinese version. Nope. Nothing lol

If you rewatch the Japanese version today, after watching the Korean, it looks really poor in comparison. No offense.…
That's what 10 years in the digital era would do to you. This is why you have to stripped all the fancy and come back to basic to dare making a comparason: Story, acting, directing, atmosphere

This Korean remake just been nominated at the Canne festival in the international series categorie. I think it is because 10 years ago the original Japaneses didn't get the chance of a platform like Netflix offer to the rest of the world today. Also online series is still a fairly new categorie in festivals. You have to live with your time. I think the Japanese production should use this opportunity to get the original on Netflix. After all it won plenty of awards on its homeground. This is no wonder the Koreans wanted to do a remake. I'm sure hollywood might do too very soon. If it is not already on the burner lol

That lakorn deserve a higher rating. Jidashte Sean was the main reason why it was so good. His interaction with each characters make them act even better. Especialy when there is funny or cute scenes. Especially with the female lead or his roomate. But what I wasn't expecting is his dramatic scene were great too. When Jarawee possesed his body to talk to her mother and she laid out all her sorowfull grief to her, geez, he was good! This is my 3rd lakorn with him as the lead and also the latest of him. The first was a rom/com with him be a ceo and marriage contract. The 2nd was a pastishe (absolutly hillarious !!!!) where is comic side was in full play. Here you still get his cheeky lad side but he is also fantastic in the sad scenes. I cry at the last ep. But it doesn't mean the other characters where dull. Oh Nooo! Far from there, but I feel he was the driving force of this lakorn. He was so natural! He was portraying my ideal man tbh lol. A MUST WATCH.

In another note, P'Pop the chef police officer and the Venerable Monk. Are they the ONLY cop and monk in the universe of lakorns??? I swear they are in most of them. With the SAME outfit no less. I'm starting to think that been cop and a monk is their day job and they supplement income with doing extras in dramas. Maybe the monk doing merits by using the profit for his temple, IDK. sadthu!!!

Title Life on Mars
Life on Mars? Odd title but JKH is in it so i'll watch it!!
It is call "life on mars" because in the original UK tv show you can hear David Bowie sing that song in the background. It was a very popular song in the UK in the late 80s. And Europe too.

I LOVED that TV show !!! The original UK one was great! I can't remimber as well the US version though. Then the UK did a spin off with a female lead "Ashes to Ashes" it was called I think. The focus of the show was to highlight the differences between 80s (then 90s) and 21st century where everything is now PC. It goes to cringing to absolutly hillarious. Happy that some of things that was completly acceptable at the time are no more, sad that other things are no more too, and with all the pop culture that made that time. I was born in the 70s and althrough I am French the show resonated a lot with me. Plus the show approache was singular at the time. Can't wait to see a 80s Seoul LOL

I remimber ALL the previous versions and adaptation of this manga. Except the Chinese. Which implied it was forgetable. Hopefully they'll make a better job this time around.

Is this real? I can't find any articles on it.
This is not a remake of the 1st season but an adaptation of the webtoon "Hana Nochi Hare: Hanadan Next Season" from the same author . Same school but 10 years later with a new generation.
