Ruyi is one of my favourite female characters ever! and i love the dynamic between her and Yuanzhou, they're 100% equals. luckily i didn't like The Double so i wasn't invested that much to feel bad. (i liked the first half a lot but then the script started unraveling. i honestly felt bad for the original Jiang Li, because it was clear she was right and no one literally gave a flying f*ck about her
