Just realised there were too many jin seol ran clues from part 1 onwards. It feels like the writers' just slapped me across my face and brought me to my senses.

WORD. It seems fans wanted them falling to their knees and wanting a passionate confession and embrace. The minute…
Also what Uk tells jinmu, he didn't come here leaving what he wanted the most in his life for a silly thing like vengeance.

Yess.. The reveal was reasonable and fitting. Btw it is always like this here. Saturday episode reactions (negative) chaos, Sunday episode reactions (positive chaos) πŸ˜‚
The comparison between seo yul's reaction and jang uk's reaction is so not right. Seo yul's reaction with that beautiful ost was followed by his decision to kill himself with her. Jang Uk was in the middle of a war. There is so much responsibility, so many people, including park jin, yul, danggu, songrim mages, cp who have put their lives on the line believing in him. Jang Uk taking responsibility, is Jang Uk, that is why he was ready to die by naksu's sword. And here, taking responsibility for the good of everything and everyone, using his power to do the right thing, that is his growth. Yet he asks his MASTER, at that moment, what he must do. Shall he stay there with her, will that be the right thing to do? She says they can do that but that is not the right thing to do. This exactly is naksu's growth. She is no longer naksu. She is Yeong. It was their last master-pupil moment. And what they both tell Yul, rather than using her death as an excuse to stay together, they would torment themselves. And that is the biggest difference between them and Yul. But with the intervention of the unanimous assembly, it is simple. She will never kill him. She challenges him yet again. And he goes to her accepting the challenge.

What resonated with me, was Naksu’s unflinching assessment of herself. No excuses - she is an assassin and soul…
I am completely with you on this.. Naksu's unflinching assessment of herself

Jinmu couldn't have come out had the queen and that stupid uncle did not go in. But I guess jinmu always knew the queen will need him more, therefore saved the last bit with her. He is more wicked than we give him credit for. About not getting clear answers. Like you said soul in the ice stone and stuff, I am someone who enjoys such open ended stuffs, it gives me space for interpreting. It could be my preference. A lot of things has been left for viewers discretion. I love that about AoS. Like in the first part, which power was buyeon's, which was naksu's, one can substantiate both ways. I guess I am just rambling about unconnected things right now. Sorry πŸ˜‚ my mind has a lot of things in it right now. buyeon 10, tomorrow we have gyj blind, i don't know. Iam waiting for hong sisters to tell me. Lol.
