They had 20 episodes in part 1 and didn't even show anything of seoho fortress and seo yul's family. They could have done something about that rather than only showing yul and his naksu dilemma. And they introduce an uncle all of a sudden. And nothing important about him too.

It is the same as the queen and seo yul are related. But does that matter really?

Shaman choi, i understand. Seo yul and seo yeong are from the same same family. But they have never been talked in connection to each other. Seo gyeong has always been linked to songrim and uk and jin family. The only possible twist i see is that they make seo yul the reincarnation of seo gyeong.

Exactly.. Why bring in a whole a** family line which was always only an absent presence and a series of lanterns at this point of the story.

I really hope there is another purpose for showing us this detailed medical procedure to save yul including buyeon and the firebird. There must be. They almost entirely dedicated an entire episode to it. There must be more to the firebird. Also I seriously don't think Yul is such an important character to the story to demand this. He has literally nothing to contribute to the story as a main character.
