Pretty cool, very brutal. Gore-galore and so many messed up scenes. I like how the director didn't take the good ol' classic infected trope. He made the infected super cool; smart, articulate, and capable. It's very clear he wasn't trying to go for the cliché 'zombies'. It's new and I like it. The director also made such a memorable villain. That actor did everything right!
And although the ending is an open one and not a satisfying one, it's very interesting. What made me curious is when Jun Zhe turns to one of the infected, as through the movie there isn't really a scene where he gets 'infected'. Also, when his girlfriend, Kai Ting, gets shot when she made it to the rooftop. She was shot, but she showed no signs of being infected. And what's really interesting is when there's a gun-shot noise, she screams. None of the previous infecteds screamed when they were hurt in anyway. Really makes you think whether she was infected or not.
I also enjoyed the little bits of comedy through-out the movie. Made me a laugh quite a few times.
All in all, it's a gore-fest, horny-driven, movie. There's a lot of uncomfortable scenes and it takes a very strong person to watch this movie without cringing, pausing, and getting up to take a walk. Cool movie, I appreciate the artistry. Can't say if I like it or not. Mixed feelings.
**I seriously do not recommend if you're not into gore. And if you can't handle SA/SH scenes, DO NOT WATCH.
This is so stupid y'allllllBlood flowed from bodies like a water gun. Zombies were horney mf.No conclusion.ZOMBIES…
They aren't zombies. Well kind of. The director didn't want them to be zombies because he wanted the 'infected' to be more smart, articulate and not dead corpses walking around mindlessly. But I guess it doesn't matter since there's more important things to focus on... Lmao.
He's practically done everything; Ranging from cultural appropriation to outright racism, to homophobia and outing one of his members (also, slurs. F-slur, N-word). It's also *speculated* that he was apart of JJY's "golden phone". If you're not aware, I suggest you look into it! He's done quite a bit more, but these are some points that kind of explain... Everything.
Rest in peace, Moonbin. I was never a fan of ASTRO but when an idol, or anyone, passes away, it's truly heart breaking. I cannot imagine what his family, friends, and members are going through. Moonbin, you will be missed. AROHA, and non-AROHA's will always love you!! 💞
I'd love to watch this, but... JJY& Defconn is there. After what JJY did, I can't stand him. I usually try to avoid shows/episodes he's been on, but I can't do that since he's a reg/host. & I can't stand Defconn either. After all the incidents on Weekly Idol, he jus gives me the creeps.
