To be honest, I would gladly sacrifice Dan Gu and Cho Yeon if it meant keeping Jang Uk and Naksu together. Them being alive and together is the only real happy ending for this show.

Sorry for being dense, but remind me again why Jang Uk wearing a blue robe is so significant? Also, didn’t wear something like that when visiting the Queen back in Episode 5?

The crew posted on twitter that the production had wrapped up after filming the wedding scene.

Aside from brute strength, the ice stone hasn't really done much for Jang Uk's skills as a mage. We all thought that he could use the ice stone to save Naksu.

Well, no one foresaw "A Korean Odyssey" ending in tragedy for the female lead.

I don’t know about anyone else but it's easier for me to handle all of the angst and hardships if the story ends on a happy note for the protagonist. Otherwise, it just feels like I wasted my time rooting for someone that was always destined to fail.

Unless I'm mistaken, the last scene filmed for Part 2 was Jang Uk and Naksu's wedding. Now that we know they get married at the beginning of tonight's episode, it's really looking like Naksu ends up dying again.

I'll admit that there was a lot of good Jang Uk and Naksu/JBY moments from Episodes 1-4. We were also treated to seeing a great on-screen kiss between the two as well. However, I still feel like the bad outweighs the good here especially with tonight's ending.

I will admit that I overreacted over the whole CPR scene and for that I do apologize.

However, I don't feel apologetic at all for the ending that we'll likely get with tonight's episode. Also, it doesn't change my point that the show should have focused on other things if the plan was to always separate Jang Uk and Naksu.

I wish nothing but the best for the cast member. They all appear to have promising futures ahead of time.

I can't say the same about this story or the Hong Sisters. Why they made two parts with the same sad endings is beyond me.

In hindsight, does anyone else feel that Jang Uk and Naksu's wedding is just a waste of screen time at this point? We know Naksu is going to die and never see Jang Uk again. Why waste any more time on a doomed couple when it could be used for other storylines?

Won't mean much once Naksu dies... again.

This is the last part, which will likely end in a way that leaves nobody pleased.

I haven't been able to enjoy my weekends completely since Episode 5 premiered. From what I thought would help alleviate my stress has now made it much worse. It will likely take several months of therapy for me to get over tonight's sad/open ending.

We should really rename Part 2 from "Light and Shadows" to "Loathing and Stress".

It feels like Part 2 has given more stressful moments than good ones if you ask me.

Seems like the real villains of this show are the Jin Family.

I would rather trust Baby Yoda to watch a tank of frogs than trust the Hong Sisters in delivering a satisfying ending.

I am curious to see how Korean fans will respond to a sad/open ending and whether it'll do more harm than good to their (Hong Sisters) careers.
