I personally have no interest in watching a drama involving a complicated love story, let alone where any of the leads are romantically involved with several characters on the show (regardless of the duel identity twist). Watching a character go back and forth between several lovers ain't my thing.
I'm actually glad that all of the episodes came out at once. I was kind of looking forward to this drama due to the two leads. However, I don't think that this will be my cup of tea after reading some of the spoilers.
I definitely have mixed feelings about this season after watching the first four episodes. Like others have already mentioned, the comedy definitely feels very forced in a lot of scenes.
Heck, I thought the way that the Fire Eel Gangster got injured (e.g., bad CGI, cartoony style) was over-the-top and kind of a "jump the shark" moment for the whole series.
I also think that what this season is missing is the multiple layers and development that a lot of the characters had in the first season. It feels like most of the characters are just reacting to things and are very one-dimensional now.
I know we have eight episodes left, but I don’t really see my opinions changing any time soon.
A friend of mine made a good observation after watching episode 12, but does anyone else feel like BSR is intentionally letting CSH take the lead on purpose?
I don’t know if it's an intentional acting chouce from JSM, but she genuinely comes off as a little shy and nervous around CSH when compared to her usual tough and take charge demeanor.
Seriously ur never satisfied with the FL, what else should she say now 😭😭😭. It's not a fast paced romance…
Yeah, I don’t think we saw any "awkwardness" from her end in the recent episode. Don’t get me wrong; fbe chemistry is obviously there between the two leads. But it's weird that the FL doesn’t say anything directly to the ML and only reacts to his advances. It's like watching a historical drama.lol

I get that. However, it would still be nice to see the FL more straightforward when it comes to confessing her feelings. It feels like the ML has been doing all the legwork when it comes to the romance.
As usual, great cinematography and acting by our ML and FL.
However, I'm a little disappointed with the execution. We waited 10 episodes to see the FL develop/confess her feelings to the ML and the best the writer could come up with was "I don’t need banana milk anymore" or that she's bored without the ML?
I think there is a high possibility that something pivotal romantically will happen for them. Fingers crossed.
Haha; no worries. Well, the show has focused so much on the ML's POV that there isn't really much to go off from that. For the record, I'm not angry that the FL just frustrated with how the show has gone about developing their relationship. And I have seen other shows where the roles were reversed and I really didn't appreciate how the FLs in those shows got treated by their respective MLs.
In regards to those past feelings for the FL, I think what would help would be getting some flashbacks that take place from her POV.

Well, my belief is that neither person should take the other for granted. Also, the ML has already shown how much he loves the FL (romantically). I don’t think it's wrong to hope for the FL to show the same effort.
FYI, my thoughts would remain the same even if the roles were reversed.

Respectfully, I will have to disagree with that assessment. I actually like the FL a lot as the ML's friend. Tbh, I would be more than happy with the two getting together if it's well deserved for both parties.
I really didn't understand that part where he was avoiding her when he was in New York, I mean you just saw your…
He didn’t realize that she was sick. All he saw was the love of his life happy with another guy. While I don’t agree with his approach, I get why he distanced himself from her.
To be honest, I still can't understand why the FL broke up with her ex. They were both having a hard time dealing…
Perhaps. Just mainly trying to figure out what kind of romance we can expect from these characters. I'm starting to get what other meants regarding why the FL and ex broke up.
The only issue left though is to determine whether the ML will have to deal with the FL always loving her ex in some way even after they get together.

Well, it is unsual for any lead to have a mature breakup,/separation with one of their exes in a K-Drama. The final scene in the last episode gave me the impression that the FL will always love her ex in some way, especially since she only broke up with him to spare him from the hardship of her cancer. I don't know how you can make the ML and FL look good together when he'll never be looked upon as THE love of her life.
