She didn't break up with him because she didn't want to burden him. She broke up with him because it was all too…
Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't like very good writing. Wouldn't the FL choose to remain with her ex if she was putting herself first? If her ex is a decent person, then logically, there's no reason for her to break up with him.
I interpreted it differently, I think she broke with him because she realized that the one he loved didn't existed…
I may need to re-watch the scene. Though it's hard not to think of the ML as a potential rebound given how she broke up with her ex. The fact of thr matter is that that the FL would likely still be with her ex if it wasn’t for her stomach cancer.
For me not really, the drama hasn't ended and there's still a change that can happen so am still rooting for them…
I don’t think some of us are asking for much when it comes to the FL showing her feelings (if any that aren't platonic) for the ML. Nobody is questioning how the ML feels about her.
Personally, I have never been a fan of scenarios where a couple breaks up due just circumstances. Depending how it's done, it can sort of cheapen any new relationships that comes afterwards for the pairing. Also, it doesn't feel like the FL ended things with her ex due to a lack of love.
If they were the lead here with their story do you think this show is going Anywhere into fans fav?? 😭😭…
I don’t know much about the 2ML, but Kim Ji-Eun is pretty popular as well. Also, I have seen several fans comment elsewhere on how much they prefer the second leads' romance over the main leads right now.

I apologize in advance if I'm coming off as pushy in my posts. I don’t mean to sound rude. It's just frustrating to watch this all unfold. If this were like a 20-episode drama, I could believe that the FL would still have time to develope legitimate romantic feelings for the ML in an organicac manner. But we only have a handful of episodes left, no real development from the FL regarding her feelings for the ML, and she only broke up with her fiance to spare him the trouble.
On another note, I kind of hope that TVN or Netflix releases a compilation of scenes involving just the second leads after the show ends. It seems like they're the only couple that fans consistently enjoy watching.
If they were going to reveal the FL's ex as a decent person, then they should've had the FL break up with him due to her realizing that she doesn't truly love him. By having the FL break up with her ex because she didn’t want to burden him any more, that doesn't bode well for the ML.
For me not really, the drama hasn't ended and there's still a change that can happen so am still rooting for them…
I just don't know how you can salvage the main couple at this point. From what I'm hearing, the FL only broke up with her fiance due to a misunderstanding and because she didn't want to burden him any longer. This automatically makes the ML into her rebound romance.
Not to mention, the FL has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to show how much she cares about the ML as a romantic partner. He's still stuck in the friend zone. The ML is so head over heels with the FL, she won't have to do anything to hook up with him. He's really become a pushover at this point.
Honestly, I feel like the main reason why some people still ship the main leads is because they like the actors and not because the characters are written well together. I can't remember the last time where it felt like a chore to see the two leads get together on this kind of show. I expect something like this from a KBS weekend/family drama.
On another note, I can’t recall the last time it was the FL's ex that caused so much headaches for the ML.lol
It's normally the ML that has the crazy ex, who creates so many problems for the main couple. I also don't recall the ML being stuck in the friendzone for this long either.
She clearly likes him shes just not in the place to except his feelings. She said all that because she didn't…
Not sure on the clearly likes him part, but I definitely feel like she needs some time to work out her own issues first. If she hooks up with the ML shortly after her ex leaves, then he's undoubtedly going to come off as a rebound. Also, it's not fair that the ML has to do all the work in winning her heart and professing his lobe but she gets to have everything from him without doing the same.
Personally, I still feel that they should hold off on putting the ML and FL together until the latter figures out what she wants and actually puts some effort in winning over thr ML. I kind of want the ML to move on with his life right now and not just be the lovesick puppy for the FL.
At this rate, the FL will become the first the lead that I've seen in a K-Drama to have gotten her happy ending without any pining or effort from her end. The ML is practically her puppy at this point. Always comes back to her no matter what she does to him.lol
