I don’t know if I’m more frustrated with Master Lee or Yul. Why does he feel it’s his responsibility? Or…
It's most likey a combination of both his guilt from last season mixed with the effects caused by the blood parasite.

What makes this more irritating is that Seo Yul still has feelings for Naksu, who is now married to Jang Uk.

Did you finish watching the episode? He wants to kill Naksu, and commit suicide at the same time. This is not…
Yeah, I'm not a fan of how they've pretty much nixed Seo Yul's closure from last season either.

CP and heo girl are one of the worst character ever
Respectfully disagree. I enjoy seeing the CP's scenes with JBY. My only real complaint is the lack of development for his character arc since the conclusion of Part 1.

Honestly, I don't really have any issues with Lady Heo right now. I get that a lot of her thoughts are being relayed by the annoying servant, but she's still tolerable for me. It seems like most of the complaints that people have of Lady Heo's character is due to her unrequited feelings for Jang Uk. Again, she hasn't done anything that's crossed a line or put either Jang Uk or JBY in harm's way.

If I had to take a guess, I think JBY will regain her memories when she and Jang Uk finally visit the tall tree together.

Sounds pretty unfair if you ask me. I would still feel the same if the roles were reversed between Seo Yul and Lady Heo.

Seo Yul at least got one hug. 😒I know. I know. JBY was only comforting her friend. But when you play Hwang Min Hyun's OST in the background, the atmosphere automatically becomes a romantic one. 💕

Personally, I've always viewed love triangles where three participants are involved regardless of whether one of them had an unrequited love.

I wouldn't call Lady Heo a legit friend to the main couple. And both her and Seo Yul clearly still have feelings for Jang Uk and JBY respectively. However, Lady Heo's feelings are more of a background issue when compared to Seo Yul's, which is why I can understand where @Terra1000 is coming from.

Unless I'm mistaken, filming for Part 1 started around last October.
I was discussing this matter with a few of my friends today (also AOS Fans) and I'm curious to hear what others think about this as well.

How many here still like Seo Yul after watching Episode 6? Not only does he still have feelings for his friend's wife, but he now plans to kill her and himself due to some misplaced sense of guilt.

I'm curious why some people still like him and hate Lady Heo, who hasn't really done anything harmful other than being petty around JBY. I've seen so many comments saying, "Poor Yul", while others have said that Lady Heo should move on after three years.

If you ask me, it seems like most people are either just hypocritical or enjoy the idea of JBY/Naksu having more than one lover in her life.

The Director really goofed up by not having GYJ film some scenes with JSM whenever their characters interacted with each other in the Soul Realm. I don't think it had anything to do with GYJ's schedule because the latter was said to have visited the set during Part 1 when she wasn't even scheduled for filming.

Plus, I would have saved Seo Yul's closure scene for Part 2 instead. Looking back at that moment between him and Mudeok, it feels like a complete waste given Part 2's recent developments.

Agreed with most of your points. Prior to Episode 5, I was under the impression that Master Lee had trained Jang Uk for the past three years in order to master the powers of the ice stone. Other than bringing Naksu back to life, I can't really figure out what purpose he serves in this show.

While I think the scenes between Kim Do Ju and Park Jin are cute at times, they do feel like filler content. I also don't understand why Jin Cho Yeon is suddenly okay with dating Park Dan Gu again after she made such a big fuss about him not being able to protect her dad from Naksu.

I used to like Seo Yul for most of Part 1. However, he's quickly found a place on my "Most Hated" list. Not only does he have feelings for his friend's wife, but he now plans to kill her as well. The fact that he's also friends with JBY doesn't make it better. For me, he's worse than Lady Heo or her annoying servant.

I will admit that LWJ does have better chemistry with GYJ than he does with JSM. I'm wondering if that's the reason why I never felt bothered by Mudeok's interactions with Seo Yul in Part 1.

Speaking of which, I have to give credit to GYJ as well. Her chemistry with the cast members is very special. It's probably one of the reasons why more people are rooting for JBY to end up with Seo Yul than Jang Uk. The last two episodes really hurt Jang Uk's character and made Seo Yul look like the better choice for JBY. This is one of the reasons why I wish Seo Yul had died back in Episode 6.

Y'all need to read this Fire Bird - Ice Stone theory!! It gives me hope for happy endinghttps://twitter.com/StandardMuse/status/1607292016362409984?t=TVg0WE1juMZ_I1sQ_yzDeA&s=19
Nice theory. Assuming that this all turns out to be true, it's a shame that they didn't introduce this plot point (Fire Bird) earlier in Part 2. It would have felt more organic than the way it was shoehorned into the story back in Episode 5.

That is true. I'm really hoping to see how Jang Uk will make it up to JBY for all of the crap that he's given her.

Still, I feel like the setup for Jang Uk and Mudeok's love story was better. You had two scarred and abandoned people finding comfort and solace in each other, resulting in some of the show's best emotional scenes.

With Part 2, you have JBY who has a very innocent crush on Jang Uk and the latter rejecting most of her advances because of his inability to move on from Mudeok.

Any love triangles in the first and second season..?
Think Twilight but with our three main leads instead. That's how I would describe Part 2's love triangle situation.

If you're already a fan of Seo Yul, it shouldn't bother you at all.
If Part 2 hadn't been my most anticipated drama for 2022, I probably would have waited until it finished airing in order to binge watch all of the episodes. The anxiety of having to wait every week for the next two episodes isn't pleasant at all.

On the other hand, it would suck having to binge watch all 10 episodes if I already knew that everything ends on a tragic/underwhelming note.
