To be honest, I have no idea how So-Yi even died. I don't recall seeing her get stabbed or hit with an energy blast. She was just thrown against the wall with simple brute force.

Episodes 7 and 8 air next week (12/31/22 - 01/01/23), while Episodes 9 and 10 air the following week (01/07/23 - 01/08/23).

On the last day of filming, set photos were taken of a scene involving Jang Uk, Naksu, and Master Lee. Given Naksu's dress, a lot of people assumed that it was for a private wedding.

If the leaked photo from October doesn't take place at the beginning or middle of Episode 10, I feel like our chances for having a happy ending will be very high.

Given that he requires all of his students to cut off their libidos, I wouldn't be surprised. 😑

If that's the case, wouldn't Seo Yul also be guilty of that as well? He's had feelings for Naksu since they were children.

Since Jang Uk and JBY haven't had their wedding yet, I'm assuming that's why HYO (mistakenly) thinks she still has a chance with him.

To be fair, we still don't know what his intentions are for Jang Uk and Naksu. Assuming that Part 2 doesn't end on a tragic note, both characters should then be grateful that Master Lee gave them another chance at life.

Given how secretive Master Lee has been as of late, I wouldn't put it past him to have concealed some of the truth from Lady Jin as well.

To be fair, I think we should consider some of the circumstances first before giving final judgment to Heo Yun Ok's character. If HYO learns that JBY is actually Naksu/Mudeok reborn, she's not going to want history to repeat itself (e.g., Jang Uk and several others dying). Unlike the audience, no one else in the story knows that Jin Mu caused Naksu to run wild last season.

Also, it's probably not easy for HYO to give up on her feelings for Jang Uk after three years of hoping that he'd notice her after Mudeok's "death".

If I'm not mistaken, the actress that portrayed child JBY is confirmed to appear later this season. I wouldn't be surprised if Naksu's soul is spared from being ejected due to JBY's intervention.

Got it. With only four episodes left, the last thing that I want to see is for either Jang Uk or Naksu to start reciprocating anyone else's feelings and prolonging the love square we have going on right now.

Curious, how does Seo Yul find out that JBY is actually Naksu?

On a brighter note, I doubt any of us have to worry about Heo Yun Ok's character. She hasn't had any scenes with Jang Uk in Part 2 and it doesn't seem like Naksu is worried about her at all.

Haven't had a chance to watch tonight's episode in full yet. How was the hugging scene between Seo Yul and Naksu? Did Seo Yul cross any lines?

Also, I heard Naksu told Jang Uk that she would have preferred marrying Seo Yul instead. Was that the reason why she reciprocated his hug?

Just want to mentally prepare myself in advance before watching this episode.lol

An episode written to just fill up time with no real developments to the main story.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's something cliche like "They need to find each other first" before he reveals the entire story. Plus, I would imagine that Jang Uk learning the truth could inadvertently put Naksu in harm's way right now.

To be fair, "Light and Shadow" is really just Part 2 of 2 from one big story. I wouldn't describe it as a standard second season.

Should Jang Uk realize that JBY is actually Naksu before the latter recovers her memories, I can't picture her taking that information well for several reasons.

1. JBY might think that Jang Uk is trying to project his feelings for Mudeok onto her.
2. Even if JBY believes Jang Uk's words, the very thought of her being the ruthless Naksu could cause to feel tremendous amount of guilt and pain.

Penthouse had three seasons. Also, Dr. Romantic's third season is scheduled to premiere late next year.

It's the reciprocated part that's the problem here. From Jin Bu Yeon's POV, she's only known Seo Yul for about a few weeks now. It'd be a different case if Bu Yeon had her memories as Naksu. Despite being married to his best friend, she seemingly has no problem receiving and reciprocating his not so platonic hug. I'm not sure how any added context can make this look better.
