Agreed. I'm really hoping that the swamp soul shifter seen in Episode 2 is an indication that we'll be seeing new and more powerful creatures emerge that'll challenge Jang Uk and his new powers.

Although most of us are anxious to find out when Naksu's memories will return, anyone else curious on whether Jang Uk will be given an enemy that'll pose a threat to him physically? It kind of eliminates any stakes if Jang Uk remains all powerful throughout the remainder of this show.

To be fair, the original Queen wasn't a saint either since she was originally looking to find a younger body (e.g., more beautiful) to exchange souls with. I would imagine that being constantly tortured and locked away for over a decade probably made her mentally unstable as well.

Also, the CP is not her biological son.

Because Bu-Yeon's body didn't require any healing back in Part 1.

The body that Naksu's soul currently inhabits originally belonged to Jin Bu-Yeon. Lady Jin was forced to save Naksu's soul in exchange for preserving Bu-Yeon's body. Since Bu-Yeon's soul no longer exists, Naksu's energy had slowly transformed her body to match the latter's original appearance.

I get the need for melodrama and all but there's got to be a fine line between necessary drama and cringeworthy material. Honestly, I liked seeing Jang Uk and Mudeok together in Part 1. However, I have no desire to see that relationship tainted by an unnecessary love triangle. If they spend most of the remaining episodes diving deep into the love triangle, I will just drop the drama altogether. It's a real shame really. Jang Uk and Naksu's story could have been epic. Leave it to the Hong Sisters to ruin such a great couple with a crappy love triangle.

I thought Naksu only said that in order to avoid being kicked out of his house. It looked like she was more afraid of being sent back to her "room".

Pretty much. I'm seriously debating whether I should drop this drama or not. I seriously hate melodramatic love triangles of any kind with a strong passion.

Also, I can finally see why so many fans said that they consider the ending of Episode 19 (Part 1) as their canon ending. No love triangles or crazy shenanigans.

Let's just hope that history doesn't repeat itself with either the CP or Seo Yul using sorcery to hook up with Naksu.

Unlike Jang Uk, Naksu showed immediate interest in Seo Yul upon meeting him for the "first time" in episode 2. Personally, I think the only feelings that Naksu has for Jang Uk right now are just gratitude. She hasn't shown any real signs of being attracted to him at all. If Naksu's messy history hadn't gotten in the way, she would have likely ended up with Seo Yul from the beginning.

Now that she has no memories of her time as Mudeok, anything is up for grabs in Part 2. I wouldn't be surprised if the remaining episodes focuses on the love triangle and gives us a rush ending with the main couple.

Not to mention, we have no idea if Lady Heo will factor in this mess as well. I just hope that the Hong Sisters don't do something perverse by having Seo Yul or the CP use sorcery to temporarily hook up with Naksu like the former King did with Jang Uk's mother.

Honestly, I liked Seo Yul from Part 1. Which is why I have no desire to see him adopt the infamous Second ML syndrome and become hopelessly pathetic in pursuing someone that he's not meant to be with. Plus, I think it's a real douchey move to act on your feelings for someone that's supposedly married to one of your good friends.

Whether we have a happy ending or not, I'm not worried about Naksu not choosing Jang Uk in the end. However, I am concerned that we'll get one of those melodramatic love triangles where Naksu is conflicted about who to choose.

Having watched the first two episodes, I am already hooked on the main story. However, I'm debating whether I should even invest any time in Jang Uk and Naksu given that Seo Yul is likely to tag along and make this into a full-blown love triangle.

Do you guys recommend waiting until Part 2 ends to see where this all goes? Or should I just go into it and ignore the cringey love triangle? I didn't mind it as much in Part 1 because Naksu and Seo Yul kept each other at arm's length. Judging by the recent preview for Episode 3, I don't think that's the case anymore.

Slightly concerned at the moment that this could lead into a full blown love triangle. Naksu is already attracted to him and Seo Yul was clearly smitten by her in this clip.

Anyone else think that Jang Uk will have a temporary fall out with Master Lee after he finds out that the latter was aware about Naksu being alive for the past three years without telling him?

Given that Yul tearfully hugs Naksu later on, I guess it'll really depend on the motivation behind it. For anyone that's familiar with King Arthur's legend, Yul currently comes off as the Korean version of Lancelot's character. Like Jang Uk and Yul, Lancelot was King Arthur's closest friend and later acted upon his feelings for Arthur's wife.

I'm curious to hear everyone else's thoughts on this matter. Some of my friends were discussing about the infamous love triangle and can't seem to agree on something.

Given that everyone in Daeho will believe that Jang Uk and Naksu (JBY) are now married, does that make Yul into a terrible person/friend for later falling in love with her again?

Given how their original discussion was about Park Dang Gu wanting to act on his feelings for Jin Cho Yeon, I'm pretty sure that Yul was talking about his own interest in Naksu.

Honestly, I can't really tell whether Naksu right now has any real feelings for Jang Uk. I've rewatched both episodes and it just feels like she's grateful that Jang Uk helped her out.
