Like you said its completely clear. He loved her but failed to protect her the last time also failed to protect…
This is just based on my own thoughts and that of other fans I've had discussions with regarding this matter.
1. The hug itself doesn't look like a comforting gesture between two platonic friends. 2. It kind of cheapens what Naksu did for Jang Uk at the end of Episode 4. 3. Has the possibility to completely overshadow whatever development Jang Uk and Naksu will have in the upcoming episode.
My problem with this scenario is how this hug feels no different from the one that she recently shared with Jang…
If I had to be honest, I feel like Jang Uk has stronger feelings for Jin Bu Yeon right now when compared to the latter. He's gone out of his way to save her many times and has no interest in other woman. Jin Bu Yeon's feelings for Jang Uk comes off more like that of a high school sweetheart.
We need smth to talk about while waiting. Every minute is excruciating until the episode is out. ๐
Yeah, some of the stuff that I read there was pretty bad. One poster joked that it was a good thing Naksu didn't stay with Seo Yul whenever he drinks at night. The insinuation is that she would have offered him the same comfort courtesy (e.g., kisses and sleeping next to him) that she gave Jang Uk last week.
Haha. That might be true. Although I was prepared to see Seo Yul give Naksu a hug, I didn't think that she would…
Bu Yeon annulled that married when the stone tower fell down.Haha
I wonder what fans would find worse: Jang Uk having kissed Jin Bu Yeon because he thought she was Mudeok for a brief moment or Seo Yul and Naksu's hug being portrayed as a romantic scene?

Believe it or not, my reaction is very tame compared to what I've read elsewhere. I've seen some comments (in Korean) calling Naksu "a loose woman that has no boundaries when it comes to skin ship with other men".
Just to be clear, I do not agree or support anything that was said by those fans.
Aren't we taking the hug a little to far ๐๐๐๐ I mean out of the unsolved problems we need to worry…
Haha. That might be true. Although I was prepared to see Seo Yul give Naksu a hug, I didn't think that she would reciprocate it. This new development completely threw me off balance.
I haven't even seen the episode yet and the thought alone still makes me upset as a fan. Jang Uk really got the short end of the stick in this episode. I don't know about anyone else, but I would feel pretty lousy if my wife reunited with her first love and gave him an intimate hug.
Ok, for the sake of everyone's peace of mind and soul, I'll do an experiment and time-travel to when I was a young-adult.It…
I think everything will be alright as long as they don't portray the hug as a romantic moment between "first loves". Honestly, I wouldn't have been bothered by this scenario back in Part One. With Jang Uk and Naksu now being "married" to each other, I don't think it's a good idea to have either of them put in a potentially compromising situation.
Maybe it's just me, but I've always believed that a person should differentiate in their gestures between their friends and significant others. What's the point of being committed to someone when you can easily share those intimate moments with someone else?
That's right! Thank you !!!!! I hope people understand the situation!
If I somehow end up being wrong with my assessment and concerns regarding this scene, I will be the first one to acknowledge my mistakes. Honestly, I hope I'm wrong.
I really liked how these two were portrayed in the past four episodes. I would hate to give it up simply because of one distasteful scene.
My problem with this scenario is how this hug feels no different from the one that she recently shared with Jang…
Haha. Not really. I was never bothered whenever my ex girlfriends hugged their male friends. Why? Because none of the hugs felt intimate or non-platonic. This feels like "Hearts of Bali" all over again where Ha Ji Won's character expressed her feelings so easily between So Ji Sub and Jo In Sung's characters.
If I end up being wrong, I will have no problem acknowledging my mistake.

The new stills dont exactly give off a platonic feeling. Looks no different from the hug that JBY/Naksu gave Jang Uk. If the actual scene plays out like this, I would not care at all if we had another sad ending for Part 2. No point rooting for these two if one of them is compromised.
My problem with this scenario is how this hug feels no different from the one that she recently shared with Jang…
I'm not a big fan of these scenarios (e.g., love triangles, affairs, infidelity). Like many other fans, I really enjoyed watching the last scene from Episode 4. I thought it was a beautiful moment.
It feels so degrading for the show to take that special moment and give it to someone else. Plus, it makes Naksu come off as someone who gives her affections way too easily.
That's right! Thank you !!!!! I hope people understand the situation!
The irony here is that Naksu was previously ranting to Uk about a village man cheating on his wife. Yet, she's the one that finds herself in a compromising situation.
My problem with this scenario is how this hug feels no different from the one that she recently shared with Jang…
Still debating whether I should wait until Sunday before watching this episode. Honestly, I have been dreading this hug scene ever since it was shown in the trailers.
I don't know how to interpret the hug but one thing for sure is Naksu hugged him with a friend perspective as…
My problem with this scenario is how this hug feels no different from the one that she recently shared with Jang Uk. I mean what's the point of giving them that type of intimate moment if she's just going to be doing the same thing with Seo Yul as well?
My suggestion would be to not to draw any of the theories through this picture cuz the episode is yet to release...…
Honestly, I'm debating whether I should wait until Sunday before watching this weekend's episodes. I'm worried that this scene will spoil my anticipation for episode 6.
