The hug looks like Naksu comforting him. On his part I can’t say. But Naksu is just being friendly for sure,…
I blame Hwang Min-Hyun for this. The guy has too much charisma that he can make anything feel romantic.lol
But yeah, I just hope they don't go down the cliche route of having Jang Uk walk in on them and misinterpret the situation. Plus, I just don't feel comfortable with Naksu hugging someone that still has romantic feelings for her. It'd be no different if Jang Uk gave a comforting hug to Lady Heo.

A comforting hug is one thing, but the mood in the released still doesn't say platonic to me at all. If there’s no distinction in expressed gestures, then people have no right to criticize Jang Uk for "cheating" on Mudeok with JBY or anyone else.
Hmmm... For me, friends can hug each other. I see nothing wrong with that.
Same here. I just find it weird in this context. JBY has no memories of her time as Nasku. From her current POV, Seo Yul is her husband's good friend.
Maybe I'm reading the gesture wrong, but that doesn’t seem like a normal hug between platonic friends. If anything, it kind of cheapens her hug with Jang Uk from the previous episode.
Not sure how to interpret the newest photos involving Seo Yul and Naksu. I didn’t think that Naksu would reciprocate his hug so affectionately, especially after we saw her comfort Jang Uk in the previous episode.
It's a good thing that this show doesn't adhere to historical customs (e.g., Joseon) since this act alone would lead to an automatic divorce.
Prior to watching Episode 4, I was slightly worried about whether Jang-Uk's cold behavior would push Naksu towards Seo Yul and further develop the cliche love triangle. After watching the last scene, I'm pretty sure we won't have to worry about that anymore.
Personally, I'm glad that they aren't wasting time by having either of them look for temporary comfort in someone else's arms (e.g., Lady Heo or Seo Yul). We only have six episodes remaining for Part 2.
Got it. I've heard others speculate that the twin boys are for Park Dang-Gu and Jin Cho-Yeon. Kids or not, I just want Jang-Uk and Naksu to make it out of this season alive and happily together. Seeing as how Master Lee was present in the leaked photo, I'm more hopeful that the scene isn't one of those "What If" scenarios. Although they don't film scenes in order, I can only hope that this scene takes place sometime near the end of the final episode.
Unfortunately, I don't. You might be able to find it somewhere on Twitter. The photos show Jang Uk, Naksu, and Master Lee filming a scene (Final Day) with Naksu appearing to be pregnant. I think other reports stated that they were filming a wedding scene as well.
Honestly, the only reason why I still have hope for a "Happy Ending" is mainly due to the leaked photo from a few months ago (i.e., final day of shooting).
I doubt it. We haven't seen any indications that Mages are capable of communicating with spirits. Plus, Master Lee was said to be present in this scene as well.
Personally, I'm a little disappointed that we have Jin-Mu and the (Real) Queen serving as Part 2's main antagonists. It feels like a retread of Part 1. Plus, I have a hard time taking Jin-Mu as a threat due to him being weak when compared to Master Lee.

Also, I really hope they don’t gloss over the emotional weight of JBY's reaction when she remembers her time as Naksu/Mudeok.
Personally, I expect one or two characters to die before the end of this show. Whether Jang-Uk and Naksu make it out alive is another matter.
