Just because JBY had incredible powers, doesn't mean that she would have a strong body as well (e.g., blind eyes). It's like how Yoda is strong in force despite his short and frail appearance.

On another note, I really hope that GYJ gets offered to star in a (well written) romantic comedy. After watching her performance for the past six episode, GYJ definitely has what it takes shine in that type of genre as well.

We should be fine as long as this scene doesn't show up at the beginning or middle portion of Episode 10.

Let's not forget, it was because of HYO that JBY learned about the history behind the blue jade.

Between HYO and Seo Yul, I've always found the latter to be more of a thorn towards Jang Uk and Naksu's relationship. Unlike HYO, Naksu once had feelings for Seo Yul and has even acknowledged that he's good looking. Jang Uk has never done anything like that for HYO.

Unfortunately, Parts 1 and 2 were originally conceived as one large story. Adding a third part to a potentially completed story, no matter how rushed, could hurt what they've accomplished so far.

So, Jang Uk is okay with storming Cheonbugwan and going against the Royal Family because Seo Yul got hurt but doesn't do a thing after learning about their involvement in Naksu's death?

Aside from Jang Uk and Naksu, the only other characters that I hope survives Part 2 are Park Dan Gu and Jin Cho Yeon. I would have no problems with all of the other characters being killed off.

Even if Seo Yul and Heo Yun Ok survive Part 2 as well, I hope they both go far away from our main couple. I'm not a fan of third wheelers staying close by the main couple.

Curious, how far along do you guys think Jang Uk and Jin Bu Yeon are with their current feelings? Do both characters look like they're already in love or just have a soft spot for each other?

Given that we're already six episodes, I'm no longer expecting to see any significant time devoted towards JBY learning that she's actually Naksu. With a revelation like that (e.g., father's death, harsh upbringing, killing Jang Uk), a whole episode should be devoted towards JBY having to deal with those memories.

Let's look at the bright side. At least HYO isn't the type of person that would steal a hug from Jang Uk or throw herself at him. Plus, her actions will likely result in Naksu regaining more of her memories.

Pretty sure that we'll get more of it during next week's episode.

Based on those set photos, I'm pretty sure that (Young) JBY's scenes won't be a flashback. Her appearance may have something to do with preserving Naksu's soul in her body.

Assuming that Part 2 ends on a happy note, maybe it'll all look good once we're able to watch both parts as one long story.

Still, it's a shame that they couldn't give 16 episodes for Part 2 as well. Unlike Part 1 which gave us several developments every episode, Part 2 has been relatively simple in comparison. The biggest takeaways from Part 2 so far have been GYJ's performance and her chemistry with LJW.

I almost forgot that she didn't have plot armor on. I blame the Rock for making me temporarily forget how fragile a normal human body can be in real life. 😑

Prior to last night's episode, I thought that Seo Yul was a goner for sure. Given his near brush with death along with how we know Seo Yul will appear in the final fight sequence, I'm pretty sure that he makes out of Part 2 alive. I can't say the same for Park Jin though.

Unless proven otherwise, there's no way that Part 2 ends without at least one of the major characters (Excluding Jang Uk and Naksu) being killed off.

For those of you that are irritated with Heo Yun-Ok's character, would you still feel the same way if her actions unintentionally lead to Naksu regaining her memories later next week?

Having recently watched Part 1 again, I really wish the Hong Sisters would have introduced new characters in Part 2. The original queen (i.e., Shaman), Jin Cho-yeon's Father, and Jang Gang all had so much charisma and presence whenever they were on the screen. Seo Yul's uncle and the new/original Queen feel like a downgrade in comparison.

While I've enjoyed seeing Jang Uk and Naksu's love story take center stage, I feel like the larger story has gone down in quality.

Agreed. Even though their writing is far from being perfect, the Hong Sisters have to be aware that ending Part 2 with another sad ending would just hurt the longevity of this show as a whole.
