The drama version looks like an original script in the basis of the synopsis .
You can see in the synopsis it is mentioned that in this version Ren susu saved Murong qingyi when they were 11 years old.8 years later she approached him to know the truth behind her parents death .After 3 years she came again in another identity as his cousin's fiance to know the truth .
So the fl's character doesn't look like a character controlled by the ml like the novel .Here she looks ambitious who wants justice for her parents .But it's obvious she will fall in love with the ml along the way which is my cup of tea where one of the lead want to focused on their goal but still genuinely fall in love with another lead which wasn't part of their plan.And the ml doesn't look like a jerk in the synopsis and i heard there will be many political wars and many villains against him.So here i think he will more focus on career and power not become like a playboy in the novel .I hope they won't make him playboy or cheater .
And yes there will be angst as it is mentioned that they had to break up for some reasons .So the plot looks complex and mixture of politics ,suspense ,romance.
I heard the team are looking for side characters who has a degree on acting .
So the production looks promising .I know everything depends on.the director and screenwriter .But I just hope if the leads are Linghe and churan ,they won't destroy their potential .Because there are many watchers who wanted their collaboration since 2022.Already they have countless fan edits in billibili ,douyin etc .


TBH i am still not gonna believe the casting rumor before official announcement because i became a clown before when the melon accounts used their name in first frost casting for almost 1 year .So if this time it becomes true ,i don't want to be disappointed and thanks for listening my blabbering lol😂

oh ,i have no problem with adding so many villains as long as they changes the male leads character and don't follow the novel .I am glad the drama version more looks like a original script

i don't think the script and costume has anything to do with the director .Even in his directed short series ,he gave justice to the main characters so i don't think he will purposely change anything because he is new to long length series and i don't think he has the power to change the script and the costume .His first directed long series was blossom and there wasn't such a things .So i felt it's the production team who treated the main cast unfairly

i thought the same that either they changed her husband's name or merged him with Zhao Yibo's character .

according to red moon pact ,qin lan's future husbands name is Bai Luo but there is no character with this name in this drama

TDHR -the demon hinter romance.

Yes i read the full novel.The novel is set on republican era and those things were normalized at that time but it's not my cup of tea.There were many annoying parts beside that for example slapping etc.


The ending was unclear .The fl reunited with her children in duan residence and the ml didn't came in front of her ,maybe he feard,she will do something again if she saw him. He only asked his children to take care of her.The ml fell ill and hospitalized ,the fl went to met him with their children,on the other hand there was no sign of his second wife .I don't know why the writer added this character whose character mentioned only two times and appeared only one time .The ML told two of his managers to take care of his children especially his son . he was born illegitimately so they can't acknowledge him publicly .The ml wants him to live as a normal person .This was the first time when the ml looked like a normal person to everyone lol .Maybe he won't live long . he was diagnosed with stage one cancer .
After everything was done ,other staffs left .The fl came towards his bed.He said sorry and she replied "i understand " But those few words look liked has thousand words ,the author wrote it like that ..Then they hold hands,smiled at each other and the main story finished like that .

In extra chapter ,there was a part where their son was telling his love interest that he hates his father because of his mother's suffering .At the same time he felt pity for him when he saw him walking alone in orchid garden .
Later he took her to visit the fl.His love interest's name was something with surname Fang .I forgot the name.She doesn't know that zhou zheng was murong qingyi's son.she though ml wants zhuo zheng as his son-in-law .After visiting his mother ,miss fang asked him about ml's daughter then he said she is his younger sister ,she was shocked and asked him where did he bring her just now(the place where miss fang met the fl )Then he replied Duan residence and then she realized he is murong qingyi's son.
There are two residence of murong family and among one of them every member lived together and in duan residence ,only murong qingyi lived when he was young .It kinda looks like the fl is living in that residence .

But did the ml and fl reconcile or not and what happened to his second wife .Did they get divorce ?even though it looked like his second wife has a lover outside (the ml mentioned a tennis coach ).
So the ending of the main characters is still uncleared.More like a open ending .But i didn't like that in the end the author showed the hospital part in the end like that the fl still has feelings for the ml.😑

yes Zhuo zheng is their son.The orphanage did some mistake .He was adopted by a woman .So they found him after 23 years and that's why fl came back after 17 years to meet her childrens .she wasn't dead,she tried to kill herself because of humiliation and the ml deliberately did it so that she hates him and remembers him or gave him attention . but he never thought she would try to kill herself .Later when she came back from coma,the ml let her go.After divorcing the ml ,she went abroad with a different identity .

yes the drama versions synopsis looks better even though there will be multiple break up etc .But i hope the plot and their character writing will be different and iqiyi better not to AI consultion like what they did with TDHR.

The ml is a jerk,too hateful and the fl is weak ,can't fight back .the ending is confusing.
The extra chapter of their son and son's love interest are far better than them even though their story is consist of 1 chapter and there is another extra chapter which is about ml's elder dead brother ,he was a good guy,totally different than the ml but he had a tragic love story and tragic ending .But both two extra chapters are better than the main story.

i am glad this adaptation is going to be more like an original script otherwise i will not able to watch it

The author's most ml are jerk ,there is a novel prequel to this novel which is about Murong qingyi's father Murong Feng, That man is a huge black flag that i never expected .

Last year from a fan's character chart ,i saw MZY's pair is going to be with CYW and Ding Yuxi's character is going to be solo
but today according to the relationship chart of iqiyi and photos it looks like DYX and MZY has a loveline .
So it's confusing .And also it seems iqiyi deleted the relationship chart and posted another one without revealing MZY's loveline

As long as the fl had no twisted feelings towards the ml before learning the truth and as long as there is no blood relation ,I can watch it .we don’t know how it’ll turn out in the drama .
But i do think in the drama version they could have change by letting her know early or when she was 9 years old that the ml is not her brother then it would be less controversial .
In the rise of ning the fl learnt that the ml is not her brother in ep 26/27 ,the romance happened after episode 30 .But i didn't saw anyone labeling the watchers as someone who are into their adopted brother and cousins .

It was hyped before the double's success .Even before the casting selection ,a single casting melon of this drama caused hot search .
I will call the double's popularity as the third reason for the anticipation .Both zhou ye and cheng lei looks promising rising stars and a fresh pairing so this is another reason .
But the first reason for it getting hype is the novel itself .The author is one of the well known novelist .The novel of Lotfg is different than her other works .
Maybe it was not the commentator's cup of tea,everyone's preference won't be same which expected ,but it was praised by many readers .So it's getting hype is not because of the double's success.
But i don't have much of towards the adaptation because i don't like the director .Also the trailer didn't fullfill my expectation .

i don't know about the novel but heard from some novel readers that he got power but wasn't happy in the end .but in the drama version he seems to be end up with he Lian ling because i saw some Reuters where they seems to enjoy a festival together and he looks happy with her .And i also heard but not sure that they merged another character with He liang Ling .So i think the drama team gonna give different ending .
But if they does that then i hope for chun'er to have better ending .At least i hope she lives for herself

The novel author is rumored to be the screenwriter and if it becomes true then there is a chance for HE because the novel was criticized because of bad writing that's why this version going to be different .(you can see the synopsis has no similarities with the novel except the names and this looks more interesting )So there is some hope that she might give HE in this version .But again HE in republican drama is rare

if it is not gonna air today or this week then i have a doubt that they will release it in may 13 because Cheng Yi's drama is rumored to air in may 17 or may 8.
