I gotta share how popular our favorite show has gotten. On the week of Feb 6, 2023, it reached #5 with 16.5M hrs viewed on Netflix. The following week it #7 with 15M hrs viewed. Pretty good for a two year old show. (these two rankings are for the non english chart)
However when it was shown on Netflix again recently on Dec 11, 2023 it has exploded in popularity. If Netflix maintained the same system of measuring by hrs viewed, the following would be True Beauty's rank among all of its shows including english ones.

First, I urge Japan to take more responsibility for their atrocities. It's similar to what Germany did, but Germany took total responsibility. Japan and the rest of Asia have a better relationship today, and they must work together. There is a coming hurricane coming onto Asia and the world - China. People need to wake up. China will dominate the world soon, while America gets weaker everyday. America can't even maintain law and order and is literally breaking down as a nation. When it breaks down, it can no longer protect the world. If Asians want to keep fighting Japan, it's not wise. It needs to work with Japan and look to the future threat coming to Asia.

You know much more about Korea's culture and celebrities than I do. If people want to make such statements, then I try to get them to look at the whole picture. This is for a three year old TV show! This is my favorite kdrama and it's great to see it getting more recognition.
