She must have hated Chengyi so much for doing that.

And at the end of the episode, Mr. Zhou says to the therapist, 'Just go, your wife's waiting for you at home.' It hit me hard because for Mr Zhou there was no one at his home waiting for him; his wife had died. Then I remembered Chengyi saying, 'Family?... How could I be his family now?' I just hope he wasn't indirectly responsible for her death.

The death of Mr. Zhou's wife must have also become a huge scar on him, scaring him that if even the police couldn't protect his wife back then, how can he truly protect Miao Jing? Her death might have only amplified his fear and led to such a choice.

I viewed 'I dare you to kiss me' as her challenging him to embrace their love. The dare is not just about the kiss; it's about letting her into his life. It's about stopping him from hiding his love. It's about seeing a better future with her, and not just for her. It's her way of saying "Only then can we have a better life."

I get that, and I'm not blaming them. I'm not saying they are poor or rich; it's about how they are taking the coach and Ms. Lin for granted. It's not every day we see teachers like them. I like how this drama isn't trying to be visually pleasing like most recent modern dramas and has gone with simplicity. Of course, there are a few shots that fall under visual grandeur, but most of the drama's visuals feel natural and real.

In her past life, she didn’t seem to hide the fact that she was the Divine Tree. People who reached her realized how the Divine Tree’s essence benefited their cultivation and acted like hyenas. I don't like how people who care about Fl and know her real identity, won't tell her the truth. It seems like ML, Ri yan, her master, her senior uncle, and even the restaurant owner all know who she is. If she knew her true identity, she wouldn't have used her spiritual energy to heal the Qin guy, nor would she use it on people she doesn't fully trust. Because she doesn't know, she keeps using her power, and people keep getting greedy. Now Tong Zhou has also set his eyes on her spiritual energy.

Ep 1: 8.2/10, Ep 2: 9/10.

I'm talking about Chen Jing Ke; maybe because I have seen his other dramas and got used to that voice, now hearing this new voice feels weird. I said this became a normal occurrence because I felt the same about some other cdramas I watched recently.
