I've watched the first half in like two days (rather fast for me) and I'm loving this way more than I ever thought it would. At first I felt there were too many coincidences going on at some points, but the drama quickly made me get over it with its expertly build tension. I swear this is giving me anxiety (in a good way I guess) in every episode, which hadn't happened since Save Me, one of my favorite dramas. Also LJG and MCW are absolutely outstanding here. The plot twist at the end of episode 8 is definitely going to shake things up, so I'm really excited to see where this is all heading.

Well, that was really good. It definitely wasn't perfect and I felt the last episode was a bit rushed, but I still loved it. I can't remember the last I enjoyed a slice of life romance this much, tbh.
I've watched 4 episodes so far and I have to say it's very different from what I expected, but I'm enjoying it a lot. The characters are all so weird (in a good way, mostly) and while the setup is pretty much like every other romance drama, the show refuses to give into the usual cliches, so kudos for that. Sometimes I get a bit lost because of how the dialogues are written, but at least it's holding my attention, which hasn't happened in a while with a rom-com drama. Let's see how it goes on from here.
This is finally available in my country's Netflix and it's exceeding all my expectations! I felt so confused during the first episode, but from the second onwards everything made sense. So Mun is adorable and his relationship with his friends and the rest of the Counters is so wholesome. This is very very enjoyable, can't wait to continue.

I still have a few episodes left, but I'm not really enjoying the dark twist the show is taking towards the end, some of this stuff is leaving a bit of a bad aftertaste.
I watched the first 4 episodes today and I'm loving it. It's just so funny! And the whole cast is doing such a great job too. Also, I don't think this is supposed to be like a big budget thing and yet the customes and sets are absolutely gorgeous. The only thing that's so-so is the world building (which is kinda half-assed), but I'm enjoying it so much that I don't care about that at all.
This sounds so dark and intense for a KES drama! I read the full description somewhere and it seems kinda tailor-made for my taste, I'm definitely IN. Can't wait to see more casting announcements.
I've seen a lot of people saying they didn't understand Birdy's actions in the later part of the story because he seemed so supportive at the beginning, but I think those who are saying that are not part of the LGBT+ community and don't know what it is like. I don't like to talk about this, but when I was a teen I always supported and stood up for the LGBT+ community, but at the same time I went out of my way to make sure people believed me when I said I was straight. I stayed in denial until I turned 18, and I lived in an inmensily more accepting environment that the one in this movie. What I mean with all this is that accepting yourself is a lot harder than accepting others, and that with this movie I felt so... seen. I saw myself in Birdy, even though our experiencies were so different, and I didn't find him confusing at all, I actually felt everything was so realistic.
Gorgeous movie, realistic and sometimes hard to watch, but still hopeful in a kinda bittersweet way. I must admit I felt a bit confused during some scenes (maybe due to the cut parts people on here are talking about?) but it made me so happy seeing this type of story portrayed so truthfully in Asian cinema. Edward Chen and Tseng Jing Hua are AMAZING, their acting is so nuanced and intense and their chemistry is through the roof from the first scene (it's a pity that the older counterparts have no chemistry whatsoever lol). Anyway, I wasn't sure about what to expect but this will be engraved within me for a while (pun intended).
Wow, what a ride this was. It's far from perfect, but the nonstop pace and the acting made it so enjoyable and entertaining. Some stuff felt kinda rushed and the CGI wasn't equally good in every scene, but the amazing production design more than made up for it. The cast was overall really good, but the most impressive (and surprising!) was IMO Go Min Shi (now I'm certainly looking forward to seeing her in Lee Eung Bok's next drama and in the one with Lee Do Hyun). Also, now that I mentioned LEB it's obvious to me that this turned out so good because he directed, I can't think of another k-drama director that could have pulled this off. Anyway, all this being said, I'm not sure how I feel about a possible second season, because from the looks of it after that ending they will stray completely away from the webtoon. Let's hope it turns out alright if it happens.
Just saw the trailer and it looks SO GREAT, the CGI looks much better than I expected! The only thing that looks kinda weird is the protein guy, but I already expected that cause it was ugly AF in the webtoon. Anyway, this was already one of my most awaited dramas of the year but after the trailer the hype is THROUGH THE ROOF. ONLY 11 MORE DAYS.
I started watching this last night just for the sake of watching something and turns out it's SO good? The acting…
Finally finished it and I definitely loved it! It definitely wasn't perfect, cause it did drag a bit in the middle and during the second half there were so many misunderstandings that could have been easily resolved, so it was a bit frustrating. But besides that, the way the story and the characters are developed is so poignant that I couldn't help but fall in love with pretty much all the characters (except for the coach, f**k him). Tbh, it made me cry a lot more than I expected when I started this looking for a light watch. Seriously, I think I cried buckets in pretty much every episode. Also, the whole cast was great but Lee Do Hyun was the obvious MVP, this was certainly a star-making perfomance and I'm pretty sure we'll see a lot more of him in the next few years.
