J Overland

I watched this drama throughout this week and WOW, it's basically as perfect as a drama can get. The plot was complex but very well built and it made perfect sense imo, which doesn't always happen with time-travelling stories. The acting was just brilliant, I don't have enough words to talk about how amazing this cast is, especially the leads. I didn't want it to end, but it was just so worth it, and it really feels like the kind of drama one would enjoy even more during a rewatch, so I might do that sometime.

She is indeed great in both comedy and drama when she is not constantly screaming from the top of her lungs, this drama helped me realise that.

I just watched the first two episodes and I'm in love. This is SO GOOD, it's like the perfect mix of Along With The Gods and Hotel del Luna (but fortunately it doesn't drag like HDL so far). I hope it stays this good until the end because it could end up being one of my favorite dramas ever. Also, I'm super surprised by Hwang Jung Eum, I've always hated her constant screaming and I've had to drop dramas because of her, but she's tones it down and is fantastic in this drama.

It's been mentioned several times by the MCs that the show will only be eight weeks long, someone should change the episode count here.

Lol wtf was that ending? Overall, the first half of the drama was crazy good, but the rest just didn't live up to that imo, even if it was entertaining. I liked SKY Castle so much more than this tbh.

I thought episode 5 was crazy, but then I watched episode 6 and man, that was WILD omfg.

I started watching this today cause I want to catch up before it ends and I'm enjoying so so much. It's been superintense from the beginning but episode 5 was just f***ing crazy, I pretty much held my breath for the entirety of the last 20 minutes.

Wow, this was SO good.

Okay, I just finished it. Was it the best drama ever? Definitely not, but I still enjoyed every single second and fell in love with all these supercharming characters. I never watch long dramas because I get tired really quickly, so I actually expected to drop it before I even made to the halfpoint. And yet, here I am, this is officially the longest drama I've ever seen and I never found it boring. It made me laugh (A LOT) and it made me cry, which is not exactly easy. I didn't expect much from Victoria and Song Weilong, but I loved their acting, everything about their characters and chemistry felt so real, and the rest of the cast was amazing too. Also, about the ending I would have liked a couple more episodes filled with fluff, but I guess I'll take what I can get, I just wished they hadn't dedicated the entire second half of the drama like that, even though I still loved it.
Anyway, I'm going to give it a really high rating even if it isn't perfect, because I spent everyday looking forward to watching more episodes and it cheered me up so much in the last week, which is something I think we all need right now (but who wouldn't be cheered up by the gorgeousness of Victoria and Song Weilong, right?).
P.S. Listen to F(x) if you don't know them. They are Victoria's group, which is one of the main reasons why I decided to watch this, and their music is great. One of the best kpop groups ever.

I'm honestly starting to get sick of Luming. At first he was funny and all, but now I can't help but feel he's too manipulative and taking advantage of Fanxing's naivety. Anyway, I seriously love the comedy style the writers use, it's exactly what I like and need now.

I'm actually enjoying this a lot more than I was expecting! I usually can't deal with long dramas, but I'm halfway through this and I'm not tires at all. I love how funny and lighthearted it is, but I'm also so here for the angsty twist it's taking right now. Also, I'm really surprised by Victoria and Song Weilong's acting. I wasn't expecting much from them, but they are seriously delivering. They were superb during the scene outside the dance event thing in episode 21.

Overall this was really entertaining, but the ending was kinda dumb, and I really couldn't believe how naive Soutaro and Yuma were till the very end.

It's been on my radar for a while, but wasn't sure it was for me. I'll give it a chance when I have some time :)

This is actually surprisingly good. The episodes are so short and fast-paced that it gets really addictive and I'm mad at myself for not waiting until it ended. Also, I've noticed it's realyl well-shot, I wish more J-dramas looked this good.

The second half focused a bit too much on the romance, but Morgan grew on me and I loved Ji Hwan from the moment he appeared, and the rest was just PERFECT, so it didn't really matter. I think this is the best kdrama of 2019 IMO (maybe tied with Sky Castle, but just maybe). It was just so well written, acted, directed and shot.

I'm halfway through now and still love it very much. I don't really care much about the Morgan romance, but the rest is just so brilliant.

I started this yesterday for some random reason and now that I'm at episode 4 I can't believe I didn't give this a try sooner. It's SO SO SO good. God, it's so amazing to see these many powerful and strong female characters in a single drama. If it manages to maintain this quality level it might end up being my favorite 2019 drama.
